heh....that's just the tip of the iceberg....but I don't take drugs...that i know of  maybe my mom slips me some ritalin while I'm sleeping or something  ...though I don't think I have ADD so I wouldn't need it :rolleyes: .....maybe it's cause I'm "high on life" hahahaha

The long-horned bitey idea seems to be popular. First I copied Makalym, then your cool pics. Have you posted these under "Brakenwood Series" yet? That's where'd they'd get recognized as story ideas better. Cool monster things.. |

hahah she doesn't....she doesn't even make dinner  ...she works reeall late...like till 6 or 7 at night...and the only dinner she ever has is fast food.....but sometimes I make my own dinner...or the other lady that lives here does (she rents a room from us)....she's my mom's like...oldest friend..or best....I think I'm gonna attack this whole bitey/evil guys story thing..draw up some concept art make a nice lil' plot....then shove it in the brackenwood series section and the look at my SHTUFF! section....i think Adam should change it to that..."Look at my SHTUFF!!"  ...heh....would be cooool.. :rolleyes:

Jubs, you give all of your characters (even the four-legged ones) human arms. Stop that.
 I really like the picture of the Phoopa scolding bitey; your animalistic faces always have a lot of creepy, ferocious personality. Edit: I also really like the pointy noses. It's a nice touch. |

Hehehe,i dunno how to draw doggy legs you goober.I try to get my dog to sit still as a referance but she gets all fidgetty and impatient and then runs off after the poor cat.Not ALL my animals have human arms...i drew one without human arms............once,haha. Besides if you want me to draw em differant you'll have to catch me,haha *throws a stick at the''beast of brackenwood'' and scurries up a tree* ''woohooo!'' Any convenient referances for doggy legs? |

yea, im having trouble drawing animalistic, while cartoony legs, such as Gorilla's and dogs, and cats, and mice, and um, birds, like Griffins . . . Anghen, or Commie, wanna make a nice little Picture reference for us?!?!?!? HMMM??? *EDIT* Well now, heres an anatomy practice I did over holiday break with my new books!!! That's pretty good bussman.You're better at shading than me  .Master Rade- woo hoo! finally,something i feel qualified to critique(being a avid monster drawer).With monsters it is quite alright to give them a rigid stance in my opinion because it makes them look less...natural,and unnatural things can be easily made scary.But with your character he's more of an athletic creature i'm guessing.The rigid stance usually only fits with umm,slothlike monsters.I'd loosen up his limbs a little more. Also i remember checking out a bit of your project,about him not being able to speak and the whole thumbs up thing.Keep in mind that you can convey alot of expression just in facial expressions alone,also in posture,especially for a creature with wolf/dog like characteristics. If ya want let me know or someone else like Anghenfil and i'm sure one of us could pop out a few referances that would help some. |

Here's some quick werewolf sketches: 1-incase you were attached to the thumbs-up dealio :lol: 2-IN a fight/berserk 3-determined/focused look 4-suprised 5-smile 6-upright stance (implies speed,agility blah blah) 7-hunched stance(implies brute strength,slow) 8-more humanlike eye 9-well...less humanlike Oh yeah,and then the other drawing i did to just fill the page hehe. Hope that helped ya out somehow.Most of them look differant because i wasn't sure of the feel you were going for  .

Every picture you post of anatomy is getting better, Bussman! The values are smooth and clear on all three of them. I'd say the shading is a little much between the collarbone and the trapezius-- but that's about it! Rade, it's pretty awesome to see the drawings of the werewolf! The muzzle and scruff are very good. Try to make his arm muscles a little more refined and put a little more hair on 'em. Smokin' wolves, Jubjub-- how lucky we are to have people such as yourself to give us references!  That picture of yours isn't showing up, Bo. Here's a sketch I did of a pack of Vorinthlar on prowl. Their demeanor is somewhat of a cross between an ape and a cat--- with a good dosage of malice.

As for yours, I love the feeling it gives such as like, a light was just shined on them through some bushes or something. The name Vorinthlar rings a bell, are they like something from the greek legends, or something??? h/o let me google it (not like that perves, lol) Hmmm, no search, oh well, what are they exactly, eitherway they are quite mysterious looking (probably fits the part)` |

Very nice Malakym, the only thing sticking out to me is the handle on the blade and the direction the blade goes . .. Other than that, nice character, love the stance btw: what filter did u use in PS to darken it, I cant find a good one that dosent make it look stupid and fake . .. |

i know the handle looks akward. i tried to show that the handle curves (by drawing the side view of the scimitar) but it didn't do it any justice. this was pretty simple. i didn't use a filter. i just copied the background layer and pasted it on a new layer. then i change the copied layer to multiply

Hey Bodot,that's the first of your stuff i've seen,cool man. Akpaintslinger-Woo Hoo,more vorinthlar.Ya know i'm likin' the way you drew that picture,it looks differant,have you been trying something new?It has good depth,i would have maybe drawn the one in the back lighter.Hehe,i like the shading on em,they look scruffy and fuzzy.And the poses are good,makes you feel like you were walking throught the woods and this would be the last thing you ever saw,before they all jumped at you,hehe.They remind me soo much of those Morlocks in the ol' black and white Time Machine movie. Malakym-That's awesome,I like her weapon reminds me more of a machette.You could easily fix the handle by just making the back-side of it connect evenly,and maybe thinning it out i little bit.I really don't get to see much of your sketches,good stuff. |

-Ahh there you go, Bodot! The shading is blended smoothly on him... Have to say he has quite a wide array of appendages! The pointed ears, spindly arms... and the face really reminds me of the robots in that one movie.... *snaps fingers*... with Will Smith as the police officer. -Malakym, you know you're damned good for a fifteen-year-old!! A stylish choice for the entire outfit--- the skirt could very well slip right off at a second's notice! An interesting choice of weapon, too... It seems so simple, though I doubt she has any trouble using it! Nearly died laughing after seeing your pup, Jubjub! He has such nice rounded, fluffy ears and paws... then I saw the muscles and thought straight to your werewolf pictures, hehe :lol: On more serious notes, though-- the hair looks excellent as always! Fine job on his shadow, it looks good faded away like it is. The closer hind leg looks a bit like a biped's... That's all I can say-- don't know too much about quadraped anatomy.

meh. i usually do all my highlighting on the computer. and unfortunately, the light source is only five feet away. and i dont try to associate my work with anime, but yeah, it seems more japanese than american. jub jub: to make it more quadrapedal, try to make the legs and arms, bend at the knees more. but it i still like it. |
