Hehe, once scanned something at 4800dpi, last time I'd ever did that...
What can I say? I'm jealous, really.
Try to fix your anatomy around the ribcage, crossreference with photos, drawings, anything!

I must be emo.. sack..
Here's a historcially significant oldie of mine, about 3 years old, which may contain disturbing content to some weaklings around here
Woman giving birth to a monster which is fond of the doctor
Back then I had a slight idea of tension and people getting pulled. And I knew a bit of shading :o

Swedish class doodle
This one I drew with my scoolmate by taking turns :P I draw a line, he draws the next.. This took the whole hour :) That's why the balance is off and there's hardly any sense of anatomy. But we had fun..

I haven't been drawing much lately... I recently got a life, and have been hanging out with people a lot instead of spending all my time in my basement

I'm working on a hand drawing in the art class that i'm an assistant for, so i'll post that as soon as i can get it home and scanned.

I saw a drawing/ finished digital painting done by Anghenfil recently of a smiling black cat and I can't find it anywhere! you need a gps to navigate these forums!

I was really interested in how the mouth was drawn, kinda minimalist cartoony, very cool, just wanted another look :D

You see a variety of eyes in cartoons but few pay attention to a really original looking mouth, it’s a great point of difference.

I've been thinking about line width and in particular no-line stylisation lately, which I really like. Most of my drawings were mouse drawn in illustrator so I haven't really worked on line variation much and are pretty boring really. It's something I want to look into, along with the anatomy, line of motion stuff than you guys keep pushing. Oh, and colour, got to tone down my colour pallet. And shadows/lighting too, got to improve my lighting.

Ahhh lets just say I need to work on everything :)

:P

Good to hear yea have some one. I also have been with some one as well. Funny that im still me, only my work has become effect by it. I even work harder now, to make sure each and every one of my piece's convey emotions to make the viewer feel a certain appeal towards my work. Mostly my sense of writing is all mushy stuff. just messing around and working on junk.

Just want *picks up the little devil only to get first degree burns*
what I like most out of this is the loaction. Really nice cave with crystals.
How long does it take to color that all. *Remebers the old crayon days*
Nothing beats Crayola

In total, not too long really. Maybe took about 3 hours tops?

And I actually did use some Crayola...just not crayons.

Anywho...Master Rade, in the upper left corner of the first picture, I actually thought she was giving him a knee in the groin at first.

Ok, this is my first time posting in this thread. Now that I have about a week off, I might actually have some time for this concept. ;)

So anyway, here is my first one. I call it "The Messy Eater" (click on the image for larger picture):

I really stink at colouring (at least on the PC), so I decided to not even attempt it in this case...

Otherwise... hmm... not much to say I guess. ;)

EDIT: Oh, I suppose I should warn that it may make some people a bit queasy. :bitey:
