And what's wrong with charles dickens?

Draw fagin comlock - fagin!

Beautiful pic though in my opinion, but then again, I don't know anything... so there you are :)

Munch, that's looking sweet man! Nice verk. How long did it take you?

thanks esn for the crits - with the eye, I was going for the rowlf effect (love those eyes!), but I couldn't quite pull it off:

Nothing -- they're just often poor street urchins. :P

Here are two people-sketches from a meeting yesterday, and some gourds from our still-life set at home.

You know, Comlock, it seems to me like her chin extends too far down and is too pointy. It might look better if you just continued the curve of the cheek on the viewer's right and made her have a small chin. After all, you make her have an overbite, but then there's this sharp chin that comes out of nowhere - it looks a little odd (at least to my eyes).

Nice sketches, kib. I think that the man's shoulders are in a somewhat strange position, though...

Proportions and style.

Legs are good, hands are too small (plus the one on her hip looks flat), and it's possible that the arms are a little too short (not quite sure, but it seems so).

The thumb that's on the sword should be behind the sword (since she's holding it).

Nice little aura there... I'm curious as to how you did that...

I'dd say the shoulders are a tad too angular, giving a more masculin impression, women's neck, shoulder area is usually more rounded off.

Now the shoulders don't nessecarily look wrong, but since you seen to be going for a very feminine type of character that might be something too look out for.

Also be weary of your fold handling, it looks too simplified and kinda grafity.

Is humbleized an accepted term now?

Quote:

hum·ble·ized (hum·bul·eyes·d)
adj.

  1. an image that has been redone by Bleego without the consent of the author

  2. destroyed

  3. made a mockery of

Used in a sentence:

"Geez, man. Did you see what that basterd Bleego did to my beautiful piece? He totally humbleized it! It looks like shit now!"[/color]

I'm still waiting for you to humbleize that Scythian Wonder Woman... Yikes, that word could be taken in completely the wrong way, if you get my drift.

"Oh god, look what he's doing to that poor woman! She's being brutally humbleized!"

I was going to suggest using the "r" word... as in "Rambunciously cuddled against one's will." But butt-diving works too. :P

Wouldn't it be Humblized? Without the E? I don't know

"I've been ......Humblized.... One look at you and i can't disguise i've been Humblized"

Ya know like that old 80's song "Hungry Eyes"? LOL :P :P

Sorry off topic..

We were off topic like 10 posts ago. :worry:

Sooo, great sketches everyone! *whew*

If you get rid of the E, then you loose the "bul" and get "hum-blized". Maybe it needs to be humblilized? Or Bleegified.
