Holy comic book art batman! They look sweet wingman especially the punisher (who doesn't like the punisher?) - but dude, you need to optimise your filesizes a bit so they're quicker for people to download

i think the nudies face is a tiny bit off. maybe the eyes are too close.. or.. the nose or lips are to big. I can't quite put my finger on it.. hmm

awesome Bleego! I like the way you captured the likness of Kristin. Did you paint this at work? did you use any lineart before you started the painting? It's fun to see you make something from the same ref photo I used. That way I can see how realy far behind I am from you. It realy makes me want to practice more when I see everybody else in that thread kicks my ass so much Here's mine  Here nose might be to small. her right eye must be closer to nose. She's actually very difficult to draw. Her face is sort of wide, but if you push it too far, it looks funny. Her eyes in the photo were a real problem too. I think both you and I had issues in that area. I drew this at home, I'll try to upload my sketch this evening when I get there. I think your sketch's likeness is just as close as mine overall, but we errored in different ways. You should refine this a bit more and paint it. I rushed my sketch and now I've got issues in the "final" painting that would take too much time to fix. Now I'm just tired of looking at her. :lol: I seldom have the patience for real studies like this. But, I need to do more of them to improve my re-occuring anatomy and structure issues. But, I find myself wanting to distort everything severly. Realism is so dull. :lol: |

yeah, I tried to edit some mistakes while I was painting. But it's hard. I never realy done paintings like these before. here's what I got so far: It looks like a completly different model! :lol:

Aw, thank you ^^ I got bored, so I guess im done. I just kept it very sketchy:  Her facial features seems to be to far up for the head I think.. Looks kinda cool with the lineart on top, so I'll just post it aswell

Arthur and Dave.... Ya guys know what? If I didnt look up to you two so much, and consider you guys my Mentors.... I'd totally hate you both! The only real issue I see with both paintings, her right eye just doesnt look natural for some reason. It looks like its pushed against the bridge of her nose? Then I took a look at the actual reference you guys were using: http://www.drawingboard.org/download.php?id=40662 And lo and behold what do I see..... The problem is in the reference! :lol: So its obvious that both of you hit the proverbial nail on the proverbial head, both paintings are perfect as far as that eye goes when shown next to the ref. But if there wasnt a ref picture to compare it to I would have thought both of your paintings were anatomically incorrect!

ye iagree Eye. In most ways i prefer the paintings to the reference picture
