Good call, Ang! I was rushing to keep it under 40 minutes and didn't fully deal with the composition as you have. I especially like the arrangement of the front spine wing thingie, helps lead my eye through the arm and to the purty flower.

The textures in the back are scanned spray paint and sumi brush ink squiggles.

------------

On this being a departure from my normal work, it is. We've being holding Thunderdome's at the office the past two friday's. Someone sends out like 3-4 topics and everyone picks one. Well, my typical subject matter is very much in the minority at VV, so this helps me take on unfamiliars subjects.

what is your job?

Talent doesn't mean shit, quite frankly. While there may be some inherent ability in my brain to comprehend such things more than some people, it doesn't make me any kind of artist. I contend that the fact that I'v drawn nearly every waking moment of my life a bigger factor in any job I land. 10 more years of that for you, Malakym, and you'll have an even better job.

Talent is way overrated. Further, I see alot more hard working people making it in the biz than talented people.

ok my mom has this little wooden uncle sam flag holder that goes out side next to our door. when the flag died my mom took the uncle sam inside and it was laying on its back on the couch for maybe a week... and if you looked at the hands without a flag in them when he is on his back they look really creepy. i hope you guys like. ^_^

Mainly PS these days. Haven't touched Sketchbook in a while.

Mostly goofing off whenever possible (as evident with the image above.). :P Actually, I've been busting my butt. The images you see lately are what I fit in here and there on breaks. I literally end up drawing most of my day.

Quick rock study:

 You've officially lost it, man. But, I applaud your tenacity. While, I can see some semblance to the drawing you showed, all I can say is that it must be subconscious. I am the EGO, ya know.
