Wow!! Thanks for the awesome feedback guys!! I wasn't really all that happy with it.... but considering I only have one drawing class under me I figured I'd improve with more practice!
I kinda liked drawing the bark of the tree.... I find it easy to do things with absolutely no predetermined patterns!! :lol: |

Vector hey your work is getting so much better, and LOL @ NoOb nice drawings whats with the needle arm/needle leg ladies lately @_@ still very cool Heres a couple of practice sketches, oh and btw if your wondering why some of it looks like its twisted out of proportion, its only that way because my sketchbook is too big for my scanner forcing me to take digital photographs of my sketches and transfer them. If you dont take the picture at a straight on perspective you get an odd looking drawing thats slightly tilting forward or back ><.... Head sketches: The little words around it is just me critiquing myself; pointing out the faults and weaknesses so i can improve on my next sketch,  my character with a couple profiles and some added emoticon faces  comments and crits are always welcomed ~Darkheart~ |

here is a drawing I did with my tablet.. finally getting good use of it.. I used a medum toned background and shaded and hilighted so that it would all tie in together.. tell me what you think. Oh and noob.. those are some awesome sketches.. I especially like the second one.. the way he is standing just makes him look so cool hehe.. |

nice job TheEye my only crit is the shape of the head and the eyes are not exactly the same, lol but thats me and im picky with my work. Keep it up, keep drawinig, and keep it real. If you want any reference material or good how to draw manga tuts, go here shes an awesome artist and helped me alot. julie dillion's tutorials and her art site can be found here |

Thank's DarkHeart, I saw those tut's on the resource list.... too bad most of them arent linked anymore.... :angry: I picked up a book today called Manga Art, it's a pretty good "learn as you go" type book.... so hopefully I will ... well..... learn as I go!! I appreciate the crits... and I agree about the head shape and eyes.... oh well, next one will be better!!

Hey, I just got my first Conceptual Designs done! Sadly, they dont look as well as I intended... Thats what I get for doing them in Geometry while really tired!    And a guy I drew for shites.  Edit: Heh, everything looks crooked. Rushed scanning! |
