Hmmmm. That's strage.. I remembered it worked earlier. I went to the history folder. I could see the image there.. Link fixed http://img272.imageshack.us/img272/5753/abstr304fc.jpg Looks nice RH =) The rubberballs are a great touch. The man with the dog in the corner gives alot to the picture. Is there a meaning behind the picture Rubberhead? |

Awesome artwork in notime! btw, Rubberhead's abstact image was only something I created. I couldent find his original image^^ (I did see it before though. I just coulden remember what was in it) RUBBERHEAD DID NOT MAKE THAT ABSTRACT IMAGE WITH THE RUBBERBALLS AND MAN HOLDING A DOG. |

Nice creatures, Humbleego. You need to make a tutorial video of you painting something. Your style is so much different than alot of the other digital painter's videos I've watched. |

Here's something I drew the other day. It's nothing really great and I did it in about 10/15 minutes or so, but I kind of like it anyway. If you understand what this is, you're probably just as big a sick dork as me
![]() And here's some stuff I just did....just a bunch of three minute sketches.

Downloaded the Camtasia Trial Version today and did a quickie: ![]() Quickie Camtasia Capture @ 4x Speed 37MB AVI If you don't have it, download the TechSmith Codec here. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------EDIT! Did another one, but with this I started out with a random splotch and tried to make it into something (fun exercise): ![]() Quickie Camtasia Capture @ 6x Speed 35MB AVI If you don't have it, download the TechSmith Codec here. |

![]() 'cause all my characters are sad, upset, or furious. I'm gonna check out the videos now, Humble EDIT: amazing stuff, Humble! I've gotta try to paint like that now, instead of laying down a base color, and shading and highlighting over it. |

Great videos Dave! Realy fun to watch. *saves both in humbleego folder* Did you just change your technique again? or was it the same way you did with that orangutang? (I thought you painted under the lineart and so on...) I just tried your method aswell =D Sigh, takes so practice to do it. That's for shure^^

I change it all the time, depending on what I'm doing. But, yeah, I often will drop my base colors under my sketch layer, then paint on a layer above both of those. This way makes for some interesting colors, IMO because all colors share the same base. In both techniques though, I usually start with a darker base and work to light. For some reason my paintings don't turn out as well if I go light to dark. Go figure. ------------edit Funny premise Munch, but I think your layout is a little wonky. I took me a minute to get that they were different girls and I think the large panel at the end is missused. I think more space should go to the girl panels to sell the joke and then have that big panel just be a small one at the end. Like the human head. ------------edit again Maybe like this: ![]() And make the drawings more awesome like this. |

![]() Recent rabbit sketches. I need some major help with them. I intend to get a pet house rabbit soon, which will be great for life studies and poses. But until then I need some help. Here's a list of things I don't understand: The Legs How the hell do they work? Does the shoulder of the front legs move at all? What is the range of motion of the legs? Where can they bend, and where can they not? How do they fold up when sitting or running? Same goes for the back legs. The body How big is their chest? Whenever I try to draw their body it looks too big in the chest, unnatural and bumpy. How much does it stretch while sitting down or running? Poses How do I keep things in proportion? How do I decide on a pose? Basically, how do I do a different pose? I have tried and they look like crap (as seen above). I have looked all over for a rabbit model sheet, anatomy, musclar system, and skeletons. I found skeletons, but they are no use to me since I don't know what moves and what doesn't, and how much flesh to put around the bones. Any help from an experienced artist, someone who can draw real rabbits well would be fantastic. I'm not interested in anime bunnies, or stereotypical bunnies; all are over stylized. I need help with drawing the real thing, NOT the style. |

This Tutorial by Niklas Jansson explains most of those things. But, I'll give it some thought to see if there are any areas I can add to. --------------------------- Psybola: First, you rabbits look more like hares to me. Here is a page that explains the difference. And a few picks: Rabbit: ![]() ![]() Hare: ![]() ![]() I'd like to go into more detail, but I have meeting now.
