Ravenseye: The ribcage on the frame version seems to be pointing away from the camera if you imagine a centerline going from it. But on the cleanad up version the upper body seems to be rotated more towards the camera.![]() You could also try to draw the facefeatures differently so it matches the frame version of your head better (since the head seems to be tilted back). Here's some things you could keep in mind when doing that: ![]() ![]() hehe, and dont study this to much. I know his upperbody is realy huge compared to his legs, aswell as other weird anatomical issues. (feel free to crit this one if you want) No problem Bussman=) But you drew it anyway, so what could I do about it? =P looks great. You are def. improving

Yeah i see com. Once again thanks alot! ill try and keep those things in mind for my next sketch. The upper chest is suposed to look kinda big like he lifts but his legs skinny. Was the way i was thinking of it looking but looking at your remake of the image i had made me smile. Its what i pictured it to look like in my mind! Its hard for me to do the lines and such too beacuse like ive said im trying to do it with my mouse and its so much easier for me to use a peice of paper and sketch things thats why i would really like to obtain one of those drawing pads. |

I just save it in the standard TIFF format, then open photoshop where I crop, resize and save it as PNG-8 or JPG. (the ones posted above are in PNG-8 because there's not alot of colors used) It's just a old habbit I have from the times I had the 30 day trial of sketchbook. But I always shrink the image in resolution before I post on the forum now that I think of it. (wich also gives it a more smoother/cleaner look) |

his facial expression seems off, I would think he'd be more unsure, rather than happy. I may not be a good animator but I am an accomplished cartoonist, and facial expressions are where im at. I dont have time to show u visually, but me also being a professional singer, I can explain pretty well. His mouth should probably be longer, imagine saying the letter "E" or "ehhhhhhh" as if he is unsure or a bad liar, trying to get away. His eyes would pobably looking away, avoiding eye contact with whomever he is speaking. Also, his shoulders should be raised, the same as to express saying "i dont know" that sort of fasion. Another thing to consider is that his face should be facing down, showing that he isnt proud. Why would he be proud he didnt do anything? overall, GREAT sketch! Better than most anything I could do, but if you put that much extra thought into everything you do, it'll come natural! -Will |

Both are red col-erase. That cat drawing just had saturation increased in PS. (And I used harder strokes on that one) |

Im actuly really pleased with this one. The one things i dont like is that i made the legs to short he looks a bit stubby but other then that i think it looks pritty good for mouse work. crit away ... i love when people point out to me what they think looks off. Anywho hope you enjoy him!![]() P.S. For some odd reason when i post a message or when i see a message is posted i am not able to see it under the daily sketch thread. For instance if it says someone new posted into the daily sketch forum when i click it i only get to see a page that is filled up and not the new message someone posted ... like if it doesnt alow me to see 239 if thats the page that the new post is on but i can see 238. I wont see 239 page till the next day. Anyone know why? Ty much -The eye of the raven |

Comlock you rock.... That troll with horns from his head is really nice. OK, so here's something that I drawn in artgrounds. There are two faces where I tried something Comlokish. I changed shape of the head to get a more interesting view, I think that really works! Here have a look ![]() ![]() |
