Hey could someone post the links to Bleeg's video capture tutorials? They're on this thread somewhere but I'm not finding them. Humble if you see this, those two movies should really be on your site under the "Resources" section. I thought I was gonna find em there, NOT!!! Nevermind. I just read Humbleego's "Free Mini Photoshop Tutorial, From HumbleEgo" post and found out that it has been taken down. so just ignore little ole' me. |

hey, im probably new to you all cause i never post, but i've been watchin for a long time, thought i'd post up my latest character that i drew today. constructive criticism (thank you sneaky robot) is more than welcome! Drawn in flash by the way, cause I dont have photoshop quite yet.  its just a sketch so its a little sloppy, but i'll clean it up when i animate him. |

Nice goat The head is great - love the expression. The body maybe needs some more "attitude" Heres a sketch also made in flash - tweaked in PS. When I was finished I tryed to flip horisontally....Which didn't look nice.. Have to remeber that next time..  Great sketches Comlock Bo |

creative criticism huh? ill see what i can do. Ahem: your larynx stinks of time-space continuum & your bedroom ceiling has too many molecules in it. also, you are unable to carry on a serious conversation with a microwave in public for any extended period of time without laughing. your lack of extra appendages makes you inefficiant in multi-tasking, & you cant even swim 40 miles per hour. your action figures are inferior to mine & if you knew how to jump into alternate universes you'd probably just screw things up. :lol: ok sorry i just had to. as for constructive criticism i think im gonna hold off till i see him colored. various action poses would be cool too

thats actually one of the figures i studied for a while when thinking up a character. Very helpful, as was Comlock's stuff and CrackedAnimations.com (ren and stimpy-like figures). I've studied now for too long though, its time to draw/animate!
care to elaborate? i dont quite get what you mean. |

Hmm what do I mean Thats the question.. I think SneakyRobot got the point - more character studies - more poses more definition... Thats the goal: more of everything - ending with less of everything. I think the pose of the goat is quite nice - it expresses uncertainty an a little fear whats going to happen. It only needs a little more linedefinition - Thats the only thing - but thats the hard part - Look at Comlocks work - he keeps sketching and gets better and better. Keep it up. I'll do it myself all the time - its hard work....  But I think you have the talent...! Bo |
