Your brushstrokes are a little messy. Also try to get more contrast. ============================ Yay! Sketchy shite! Posts: 3,821 Group: Moderator Member #784 Joined: January 5, 2005	Thanks Arthur and mark. mark, i dont think i need to use big blocks when starting, because i allways paint more detailed with other colors later, over my "messy" small blocks lines. but hey, i can test it sometimes! it probably goes faster with that technique, so thanks! update! its for arthur and my figth/story. go check it out!

Some more recent scrawls, etc. Considered these showable... Boring-class-doodles, the why-aren't-you-working-? kind of stuff :lol: kinda like this one, ballpoint- and rollerball pen. Pencil scrawls Played Quake2 a bit before doing this... not that it bears any resemblance =P Mechanical pencil crap Who was it again with the awesome Shakespeare quote in his sig? Thinking making a t-shirt print of the small bird with huge hand :lol: Sketches and thumbnails for school, normally I don't post these. But I thought these are kinda catchy... (feel free to tell they suck :rolleyes: ) That's just plain coloured pencil BTW, no colerase or any of that...

Right now, the ground piece that it's resting on (if one were to make a grid using rough vanishing points) is behind the leg that the staff is being held in front of. I've been looking myself blind on this drawing now, so im not quite shure what the viewer realy see. I was trying to make it look like he is holding the spear at an agle, pointing slightly towards the camera. So thats why the tip of the spear touches the ground higher up than his legs. something like this I dont know if it worked out though...

The spear is in the right position in relationship to the back leg, AND in the right place for the idea of it being leant forward -Jack
