KiWi that first head almost looks rendered in 3D, very nice. When you're painting things do you work on a black background the entire time? Here's some quick action poses for the character that I refuse to give up on.

Heh, a classmate approached me today saying I still owed him a "Halo-drawing" (loose sense) I promised a year ago. Doh! So I quickly whipped out a Masterchief and added a lame nerdy joke - he'll love it =P ! ![]() KiWi, those are fantastic, keep up the studies! (What are your resources?) HadOne2Many Pretty good, but you might wanna check into some leg anatomy. |

The downer leg looks to short. The calf muscle looks too big, especially down the ankle joint, and the knee is too long forward. Try draw a picture with a leg straight with this as a pattern, with the joint at the same place. It would look pretty odd. That's probably the only thing I can see... Sorry for not being understandable

Nice on Rubberhead. I've always really liked black and white drawings. Bald headed with a huge nose. Life must be tough for him. I am taking your advice and doing some leg studies. I broke out Hogarth for this because his overaggerated muscles make it easier to learn proper placement. After roughing out the main shapes I tried to simplify with the fewest # of lines while still retaing the shape of a leg. ![]() Feet are next on my list. |
