Just some penciljunk I originally intended for the illustration activity, hence the Anghenmonster sillyness at the bottom.

Oh and Inflame, nice troll :P

AK, nice, keep at it. Try to loosen up your curves a little.

 I love it. Inked and colored, I'd set that as my avatar in a heartbeat.

You've got a lot of interesting shapes floating around. They do seem more masklike than organic, but interesting nonetheless. Very totemic flavor.

Rubberhead - great sketches - nice attitudes...

Heres somekind of a hero - testing the brush in flash.

I've used some gradients and masks for light.

Rubberhead:I LOVE your shading style so much...
Is there anyway you could show me some close ups of some of your drawings, so I could see your shading better?
that'd be great

InFlame: Your stuff looks likes it's getting better.
Take Rubber's advice...make your lines looser, make his weight sag a little. His stomach makes him look pregnant or something, it goes straight, then very quickly bulges out. It should be a smoother transition, if that makes sense, heh.

Bodot: Take Anghenmonster's advice..haha...study some anatomy...
It was a good idea usin' that soft reddish and greenish light on his legs..though there should be a well-defined source for those, otherwise...it kinda looks like random lights are shining on his legs...

AK: That looks good, though, was that made out of your head? or did you have a reference?
Her head is kind of oddly proportioned. She has a very small forehead, and an EXTREMELY rectangular face. She has very defined jawbones. She also has a very long neck, VERY long...heh. I'm not tryin' to make her sound ugly or anything, especially if this is someone you know personally.

That's my two cents.

Bodot, for a super-hero, he's pretty laid-back, don't you think? (unless that IS his power! :gasp:) Good heav'ns!!

I'd work on pushing his pose a little more. It should say something about him... who he is and what he stands for!
And, more importantly, what his superhero power is. It should communicate a great deal in general.

not to shabby AK. Though at first glance i could instantly tell her torso is to long, as are her breasteses. Id also make her legs longer as well. ;)

edit- the bottom half of her body is also crooked, she should follow a line of action which shows her weight. Im not great at explaining it and if i had my wacom stylus (*cries*) id show you what i meant. possibly moving her left leg over to line up with her thigh might be a good start.

a valliant effort, and im definetly seeing improvment from you!! :D

Breasts? Breatesses?

What are you two babbling on about!?

That is clearly a shirt with lumps on the front.

But yes I can see how her torso is elongated--- and the legs DO look terribly short. Quite a bit was lost in translation I'm afraid.

Thanks, fellas!

Breasticles

If you want to improve your human drawing, get yourself a good anatomy book (Bridgman, Hale's Artistic Anatomy, and Anatomy for the Artist, etc) and join us in the Speed Drawing Thread. It'll help, I promise.
