I was constantly looking for ctrl Z in my water colors class.

I totally know how that feels.
But luckily, water colours are a forgiving medium and while the paint's wet you can just wipe it off with a sponge.

needs to be tweaked, must add buttons.

I feel all giggly inside since we've got snow now. And a blizzard and minus five degrees Celsius.

I love the adjustments you did with your picture raven, remindes me of sketches i did at my art school last year :D! it looks really nice.

haveing that said, there are some perspective failure there, it doesnt feel rigth, do you see it?

I kinda made some thing that migth help, i hope its okay :(

Posted Image
heres the perspective one, i did some changes with, it has a more depth feel, the ground the cats are placed on needed some changes, its was as if they was in a hill.

and i see that you use weed and bushes to hide the roots! but dont be so shy :P , last thursday i made some research, i went into the woods to see how everything was, learned alot

forexample, there is no golf ground in the forest, there is alot of weed!

and i see that your useing the animation way of drawing trees, i made a little tree, and used textured brushes. do that to :D
Posted Image

there is one more thing, your landscape looks really chinese.

i found a picture to prove it :D

make trees on the mountain tops, and add more mist!

something like this

except from that travis, your getting really good! ive seen huge improvements! keep up the friggin awsome work :D

Hey thanks espen! Yeah i have a problem with perspective hehe i read over the website rubber had sent that tells about perspective i guess ill have to take another look. What i was going for was like a Grand canyon feel with lots of bluffs only very lush forests so i was actully going to put treest on those distanced mountains. The cats were actully suposed to be up on one of those bluffs so it was suposed to be like a drop off. Ill go back in and see if i cant spruceidy spruce it back up. Thanks again for the crits ill start doing that with the trees! I must admit it looks much much nicer then the way ive been doing them hehe!

Woot: i rented FF: Advent children and not only was it saweeeeetttt but i knew exactly which scene you were thinking of when i saw it haha. Maybe i have the same mind of some japanese guy ... ugh i pled the 5th.

Did you know you're one of my favorite artists? It's an odd thing to say to someone who is still very, very early in their career, but there's a lot of great things coming from you.

By the way, do you remember the link to that Cambodian artist's site that you posted a while ago? There's a painting of a Geisha on the front page, if I remember. Can you post that again, I loved that artist too.

Thanks, Jemooky. It means a lot. :P

The guy you're looking for is probably Andrew Hem. He updated his gallery awhile back, too.

Perfect. That's exactly who I was looking for.

Espen, those paintings are bad ass. If you have any insight into painting or colour theory, I'd love to hear it :)

I tried something different today, went with a lot of colours and that sketchy style. I'm quite happy with the results, hope you like it too. The original picture is bigger, but I'm afraid to post it here...

You're making my eyes bleed with that 255 Blue, Kiwi. Tone that business dooooown! ;)

---------------------------------------------------Cough!

So, we're trying something new with VV Thunderdome, we're starting it on Monday and giving people a week to find a spare moment to do it. So hopefully more people will get involved. This week was "Very Scary" since we were'n't able to do a Halloween one...
