Lol, great Ganon design Dave
And I'll keep that 100% brush thing in mind. thanks=)

MrNurbs: for the clouds im using a brush called "clouder". and for those airplane looking things I used a knife brush thingy(this brush uses the tilt function aswell). Here's a short little video where im making those metors and airplanes on the blue sky
http://www.comlock.net/drawings/clouder.avi

Dig the palette knife brush, Commie. Took a few minutes to play with it and ended up something that looks eerily like Patrick Stewart.

Hey comlock for those brushes ... or for anyone that can answer. I went to download them and i didnt see them in my brushes in photoshop. It kept bringing up photoshop elements. I also tried going into my program files and saving it right into the brushs folder but they are not there. Could anyone tell me exactly where to put them?

You can save the brushfile anywhere you'd like acctually, but I like to keep them all in the standard photoshop brushfolder just to keep them organized

Painted this yesterday as part of my signature for another forum. I'm pretty pleased with the results but I'm sure there's something to criticize but I'm always happy to have C&C so go ahead! :)

Coloured with markers?

Okay, so I got my tablet working on this junky old computer, so I'm getting back in the game. I'll be the first to admit that this is a less-than-stellar painting, but I just did it as a warm up.

Im really liking the lighting on that matt! ;)

somethin looks a little wonky (I swore I would never use that word..) on the lower half of his body in relation to the upperhalf, but I wont hammer ya to hard for it :P

edit- now that i look at it, I think it has to do with the position of his legs. Like every other crit, I am wacomless so I canat really draw over it to show what i mean... :(

His legs are twisted around like crazy. That's probably what looks wrong. I'm not worried about it, since it's really just a rendering/getting-used-to-wacom test.
Thanks for the comments :)

Hey thats pretty cool!
Man we don't get enough stuff like that here, its nice to see something new.
btw, you'd prolly wanna post something like that in the Whatcha Workin' on section, if i were to throw out a guess. Or you could do finished art thread, since it's done.

Mustard gass, yellow smoke, mythical creature...who knows? Oh wait I do! It's to do with this fantasy thing that I have going on, that is someone's life source! Thank you for the compliments, much appreciated!

colsif: wow nice castle! I can't believe you made it wth just paper! Any particular reason for making it or did it just creatively pop into your head?

Thanatos: Nice drawing, I like the sketchy style! You were doing that at 2:30am?!!? :gasp:

Cave_King: Nice strong shadows, really gives a sinister atmosphere to the portrait. How long did those take?
