Lookin good tinsterr. The face is good but I think it is sitting on an awkward angle. Turn your own neck and imagine how much of the face someone might see if they were looking at you from behind. It should be almost a profile of the face but ofcourse it's a cartoon which warrants a little extra bend here and there, so take from that what you will. |

sorry i was drunk with my last post. I saw a peice where someone had a flower type person like that and i was waiting for a freind to come over so it was like 20 mins of just blah. Been a long week with to much to do and not enough art time :(. Now the weeks new again though so yeaay! |

lol its a dragapotumus! Great picture humble the water lighting looks awsome! Cant wait till i can paint awsomely thats why im still practicing haha but i do wish i had the power to just learn instantly it would be that much better! Sooo does who thinks this has potential!!!!!! lol i bet everyones like huh whats that going to be. (smiles smiles smiles) Guess you will have to wait and see. ir looks asome to my standard (but who am I to say that (I cant draw :P) I realy like his eyes (or eye) so dark  lets see if I can find some less good things -is it the intension that he has like a force field around his head?? -I should make the start of the wings longer (normal it gows from wide to small here it go's opposit) -the fire ball (or so) looks a bit 2D but anyway I'm just (mugenziften but then in eng.) at the details at first sight it looks verry good |

I started working my picture. Im not sure what im going to do with the bottom right corner. Was trying to get a shadow going but it wasnt working out so well and the left corner ice slab thing i was screwing up the glints from the sun. I think i just started it with way to saturated where the sun hits the snowy ground. also it doesnt necisarily look like snow yet. Whatever practice is practice. I have a huge head ache now thou so im done for the day. Here she is.

Hey, good for you. Other kids used to pick on me all the time for drawing cadavers and naked people. :lol: Nice picture, and I'm proud that you got the wing anatomy essentially correct. His legs should be longer, but that's the only big thing I see. Try forcing your perspective next time by enlarging the body parts that are closer, like the hands - with practice, it really does make your pictures stronger. Raven, darken your darks. The saturation overall looks a bit high (Unless the purple is ice...), but the saturated "halos" around the white snow are interesting, kind of like the prism effect of light through ice crystals. You might want to scout for some reference. |

Yeah im still learning! So darken my darks mmk ... Yeah actully it is ice i was going for glacier effect and trying to brake out from my norm. The "Halos" you speak of were actully attemts of having a weirdish gradient into the purple lol but sure its the light traveling threw the ice yuuup! thanks for the tips ang. |
