You should have a direction for your light, right now it's all upfront, looks like a plastic sticker. Imagine it as a real life object, look at your arm right now for example, how the light hits the surface.
Quick example: Posted Image

Keep in mind that shadowy areas are much less saturated then lighted spots.

In a way. I just decided to take this image and convert it to a twilight princess art style. I was thinking "I wonder what a character who is extremely cartoony in his proportions would look like if he was detailed." Something like what they did to Mario in SmashBros. I don't necessarily like the effect, but I wanted to try my hand at it. And at the same time, it lets me practice my photoshop painting rendering.

That's just the reference picture I was using.

I'll make my next picture less nerdy. Maybe.

urgh new stuff, I'll leave the pearl for the last.

Ya know this one, repositioned the front guy and did some minor changes to the bride guy, plus some advancement on the further guy.

Something I thought up. It's supposed to be a warforged (from D&D O) in an urban setting, after a battle. Teh face and the rest looks crappy cause i was on a train and was a bit sleepy (not that it exuses anything)
Posted Image

Something REAL quick I whipped up. A chimeric creature of sorts (won't use as an excuse for the pose and the un proportionator)
Posted Image

Ok the pearl. Have been working on this for a couple days. Just an idea that popped in my head.
PS:It's a friggin tail!!! ~:-(

Did this in Calc, after I failed a test. The right eye (his left) is skewed, and it bugs the crap out of me. Oh well.

I don't know if you remember this or not, but after my Link painting, I said that my next one wouldn't be nerdy. Do you remember that? Well, I'm sorry that I'm a liar.
