yo folks i thought it was about time i made my lazy ass draw a pic for this section. (its quite hard holding a pecil between ur cheeks, and remeber not to sit down btw lol)
:yfok: :worry: :o

Looking great. Hm... the guy seems a little on the small side( i bet he couldn't touch the ground if he tried), and his coat seems a lil' weird. Those things are minor though.
I think it would be cool if you had a HUGE cape/trenchcoat coming out from behind him.

he is meant to be smaller than the bike. i wanted it to be like a huge super bike.

but this is only a preliminary sketch before i do my more surreal on. hope i can do it alright. i wanted to see if i cud actaully draw a bike before i proceeded with the one i wanna focus on.

about the coat cape thing. yeah its shite. i like the idea of a long one like u say jemooky. maybe like spawns one. hmmmmmmmmmm

Ey juggle, only thing I can say is the perspective is very confusing. I can't really tell if you just went in and started drawing, but it looks that way. Dont forget to take a lot of time on your preliminary sketching, getting things in the right place first.

 err thanks i..think lol. :D its cool. i know what ur saying bardeux. i did just sit down and draw before planning. i know ya shouldnt do that but i started drawing the back wheel and though hmmmm, this cud be interesting. so i wanted to drawit froma weird perspective. thinking about it know, the guy really shud be bigger (he looks like a hobbit) and i should have made the front go further into the distance so it wud have an weirder but more understandable angle on it. ah well. my next one will be better.

thanks for the comments anyways. ;)

how long does it take you for things like that? do u draw them with pencil first then scan and colour or do u draw directly into sketchbook?

Com is right, I draw from scratch into my app. This I took me about 1.5 hours, think... though I didn't really time myself... :D

Incredible stuff everyone! Smallardjemookiehwatever, your bots are way cool! Really anxious to see the progression of your movie, dude.
HumbleDave your bg's are way totally! Also anxious to see the final outcome (and all the wip pics you care to share) of that project.

Absolutely stunning, mates! I 'specially appreciate how Comlock and Ego have risen the bar, so to speak, and instead of everyone just backing off because of it you're all producing exceptionally fine stuff! That is sooo cool! Kudos to everyone for that.. lesser beings might be tempted to just back off and not bother posting but instead you've all risen to the challenge and done some really great works. I'm very impressed! B)

I had a sketch to post but it seems I misplaced it. Some of you awreddy know that I started a new job (real work that pays real money (yay)) the day after I got "moved" to a spacious little corner. My workspace got trashed tho and I can't even find my sketchbook :yfok: but I did manage to find one #118 Staedtler so all is not lost. I'm hoping I cn get reorganised real quick and join in asap. (I DID get my computer running pretty quick tho. lol)

Cheers everyone and keep up the great work! Cya as soon as I can.. this weekend I'm hoping to get everything sorted out.

MiG

PS: InFlamE.. yur doing great buddy. Draw the drugs and violins ifn you need to but steer WAAAAY clear of it in real life, dude. It'll f**k up your life forever! Big improvement in your artwork tho. Very encouraging.

With anything I can get my hands on, Sketchbook, Photoshop, Painter, real live pencils... whatever

Here's a pic I did for Vect and his Giant Brain in Sketchbook (my app flavor of the week), as repayment for some AS help. If you've seen his creepy avatar, you know the inspiration....

Dave.. forget animation with Disney man, you could be a digital background painter! Scuse the language, but fuck you're good with colour. I mean, really... I wish I could do stuff like that with Painter, Sketchbook or Photoshop... well, maybe I can, but I just don't know my way around the apps.

That shiny Bingbong one I did was about an hours work, and it's kinda boring. How do you get such a clean line? Can you explain your process, or would you rather keep it under your hat? :shane:

What app is that? Sketchbook?
In any case, it'll tell you how to use layers right in the readme or help menu.
