Calco, if your doing it in photoshop, leave the background transparent and export it as a png, it will act like a transparency layer and create the effect.

EDIT:

Scottsman, you might wanna link things that aren't PG-13. Some people have lil-uns running around.

Yeah I knew about that, I just wanted to see if it worked by colouring.

Sexy- Those images are huge! lower the size!

Rade- Those lips seem a tad on the big size, the ear on the small side, and remember the skull under that hair! and a plain old hairline would make for a better "doo", the hair also seems to part unnaturally over the ear. Keep it up tho, i like the direction your going!

Sweater- Got not many crits, great style. Perhapse flatten out that pee puddle a bit.

Those look rather nice Sexy, maybe try pushing the contrast in the shading.

Sweaterjon- Nice pic, made me giggle for some reason. :) But it seems as if the ducks feet have been twisted, or is he looking backwards? either way, ide just flip the head and body around. Otherwise looks good. B)

yeah he's looking backwards. I think it might get a little confusing with his back kinda looking a little bit like someone elses front.

But thanks. And I'm glad you got something out of it.

Did this for an art contest over at NG.

I've never posted in here, and I basically never draw anything, but I was doodling random crap on a paper next to my computer with a pen one day...

Anath- Funny sketches, i likes. I would say upgrade from ball to real hands and define the fabric a bit more but Im guessing your going for the chib style. Its cute . What game?

Scottsman- *Now with tentacles* I like how you kept the nutsack in there . I want to ask you, who the hell is this man you keep drawing? My only crits are to amp the contrast a tad, its seems like the lightsource is comming from the front but the only shading i see is on "teh" fro. Good stuff though. Maybe next time he could be a turtle? :D

Garry- I digg the sketches man. And damn good for a pen. That mouse has some good detail (erasing is my only best friend). Also... is that a murlock!?

Also... is that a murlock!?

I don't even know what a murlock is. After doing some Googling, I see the similarities. But as far as I know, it was somewhat original. It's supposed to be some kind of fish...maybe. :P I don't really know what anything is. It's pretty much random.

Actually there is shadowing on the entire body. I used a set of 5 colors for the body. But they are very light shadows, still...I'll do something with some more dramatic colors here in a second!
The guy actually started out when I saw this really cool glass sculpture that was in the shape of the first few guys I drew. I just gave it eyes, a mouth, and detailed the rest of the body. But this newer stuff is just the evolution of that character...I can't get enough of him...it's too fun to draw!

Antiseal, I was just drawing little chibis. :P
Plus he wears gloves. If he didn't I would have defined his hands a bit more.
Each panel took under a minute.

He's my current DnD character. Here's a better picture of him that I spent a little more time on:

Oh yeah, and scottsman, I love that character, he's so funny. He reminds me kind of of this guy

Pretty good Anath! I like it. Just one thing, but it's not major... his left leg (our right) seems like it should look like it's going away from us a little more. Other than that, good job.

My art teacher has been hounding me to draw from life, so I whipped this up for her... she's gonna hate it.
