Thanks for that  I based the painting directly off the original sprite, so I'm pretty sure she had almost that exact same pose. Not really a good excuse. Tsninjapirate- Get some one-point perspective going on in that castle, and it'll look great. Let me know if you need links to some perspective resources. |

This sketch doesn't really make sense unless you know what's happening Our school was doing the performance of Annie Get Your Gun and I was playing Dolly Tate. I loved the play but my favourite scene was undoubtedly when Cheif Sitting Bull and Charlie Davenport catch Dolly trying to fix Annies guns so she'll lose the match against Frank Butler. To make Dolly tell them what the hell she's doing with Annies guns Sitting Bull threatens to scalp her sitting bull: now how I do this...no scalp in...thirty years! Is it from left ear to right ear, from right ear to eyebrow. I maybe make big mess...but I try! Dolly tells then after being threatened by Charlie runs off stage screaming. Sketched this up whilst bored in geography and then quickly painted it before running off to the last showing of the play. I made it as a present for Josh (sitting bull) and Tom (Charlie) as they were great during the play and so funny. |

But since I need to write something down, I’ll say that I started to draw just anything out of the desperate need for the therapeutic effect of freeform drawing, and started with a round thing in the middle and added random shapes to it. Then I decided to add depth, then erased some lines to give more shape continuity. The disembodied hand came out of a random curve reminding me of a hand. Brother and Sister http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c188/ava...-and-sister.jpg From the last drawing, I made an extension of the block sticking from the bottom of the shape, and made two opposite sides, straight corners and rounded lines, to extend around them. These do in fact make one continuous line. |

 I havn't done any drawing for a year now since my gcse art exam (i got a c) so my camera is abit silly atm so i decided to do a drawing. CRITS WELCOME! PLEASE GIVE ME SOME CRITS!!!! Thanks for hte comment, but that isn't a princess. It's a lolita girl. And if you don't know what it is i will say that lolita is a japanese fashion who is famous over the world. It's also a subculture too. The lolitas is dressing in fluffy, cute or creepy skirts and have high shoes. This picture, for example is a lolita. Mana, in the picture is a famous goth lolita model.  but id you already know that, then... well, i have this information for them who don't know... |
