Nice stuff, Melker! Did you design all of the creatures yourself? The fish (Bloatsic?), I like inparticular. The fins are well done. ![]() ------------------------------------------------ ![]() Die, symbols from my childhood, die... |

It's great Tom Conger, but the character isn't... funny. Well, a new picture which means a dragon with watercolour. I have just learn to draw dragons so... ![]() It's small i know, but I couldn't do it bigger ._. Some criticism? |

Why couldn't you make it any bigger? Plenty of free imagehosting websites where you can upload pictures bigger than that. |

I need to get my ass in gear for my AP portfolio, so I'm starting to paint digitally even though my tablet isn't working at 100%.![]() Crits always welcome And AK, I just wanted to tell you that your portrait on the right really caught my eye. Good work Edit: It just occured to me that this might be seen as racist, maybe? Believe me, it's definetly not. I've seen a lot of cola cans from many countries, and all their logos always grab my eye. But I wanted to make it an advert, so without knowing the language, I just put typical nonsensical statements that I always see on products from the Chinese supermarket. |

Dash- Too small! Cant crit what i cant see! Yex- Your showing a lot of potential. Keep doing what your doing! Try a few drawings of people in motion as well. good stuff Jem- Thats a great rendering on that soda bottle! My only crit is that the bottom doesnt look "stable" enough. The way i see it now it looks like it would tip if set on a counter. The problem is that the top bottle cap is in direct profile and the bottom is rounded like we where viewing it from above, you might try putting an ellipse onto the bottle cap to match the perspective. Otherwise its great! Here is a quick pose-refferenced drawing of my friend. Im trying out clothing mood/feeling for the main character in a film project im getting underway this summer. He look "main" charactery enough? I need to add a few things to touch him up, atm he looks a bit plain.

Fixed. But aside from that, the plainness and the fact that he's about to fall over it's looking good. |

Thanks, good point. I think a big part of it is that the bottom seems flat because of lack of light spots. But the perspective problem I think comes from the source photo. Perspective gets warped like that when you take a picture from close up. You can see the horizontal lines gradually become more curved as they move down the painting. Thanks so much for commenting
He looks like he could have some serious conflicted hero-type feelings. The tie is freakin' gigantic. I sort of like the look of Reservoir Dogs ties, or you could remove it entirely. |

Yeah, I was thinking about stripping the tie and just having him in a black sweater vest. But on second though he might just be better with just the plain ole shirt. Thanks!

Have a character description? I want to try to suggest articles of clothing, but I don't know if it would suit his personality. |
