Good stuff Gnort! Those faces look kewl. But that arm in the top right looks a bit angular. Just a face, i haven't touched the tablet to draw in a while. So im exercising some of the rust off my "artistic" joints. Bit blurry, but OC keeps exporting that way. Meh. |

 Your just jealous that all the girls like him. Nice painting seal! I was going to paint Mr Sparrow too but it seems you've beaten me too it. The nose and cheeks are a little off but I like it. |

Yeah he does have womanly lips =) I did some sketches while I had some time, gotta improve my skill ... wotya think  (the girl on the left was from memory, i couldnt remember what shen looked like and the girl on the right was after I saw the image again)

-AnTiSeAl-: yes, Both of you lips are too feminine. You could also try to make the lips colours closer to his skintone, or reduce the contour lines around them. Your newest lip doesent look like a part of his face since it does'nt follow the mid line of the face. Also, explain the forms around the lips and his jaw more. In your newer painting you also added more shadow on the beard area under the lip. That gives the wrong impression of the form. Drawing it right under the bottom lip would make it more belivable I think. I don't have the ref, but see if you can find these shapes in his mouth area and explain what the forms really look like (exagurated here probably , but the forms should be there) Here's another ref of jack:  It's harder to find forms when it's only a flat image, but they are all there. Speaking of lips.. Bucks: Again, I don't have the reference to check but:  Follow the forms of the face (unless she was smiling like that ofcourse) |

Thanks Comlock, her face was being pushed up a bit by the pillow, she was laying down so her top eye is slightly pushed up as well. =) but i may have done it too much

ah, ok. You probably did right then ^^. You could have pushed it even more, and it still would'nt be wrong. Maybe just showed more clearly that her face was lying on a pillow. I did'nt notice it before you metntioned it =)

Hey Tinsterr its coming along, dont give up =) I had a go at your foot, im not too good at feet =/ but hope it helps her .. right fore arm looks a bit funny as well =)  Im trying to loosen up in my drawings so tried more crazy stuff today =) (inspired by comlocks drawings dont be offended =/ :lol: )
