Well, the best critique I can give is the usual one (and also the best one):

Do more of the same; keep reaching for the sky. Draw different things, in different positions, in different moods. Whatever interests you.

If one ever falls into the trap of relying on a specific formula for doing something, one stops learning.

Try to understand the thing you want to draw in your head before you actually start drawing it. So... if you're drawing a bird, study a picture of a bird and try to imagine how that bird is structured. Even better, watch some birds move in real life. Try to get the feel for them. Once you better understand the "straight way" to do it, you can then make a more effective caricature.

Most of your sketches are at a fairly primitive level so far, but on the bright side, it seems like you're trying to do new things. Just keep on doing that.

Anything more concrete? Well... does the guy on the left have a cheek on the other side of his face? The other side of his mouth is also missing.

Which is probably why photobucket deleted it. They've yet to delete my pictures and they're much worse ;) :D

Tim: nice one! I want to see more doodles. The colour scheme is very soft and bright, I love it

Tony: I like how everything molds together, do you have any more sketches like that?

Thanatos: what program do you use? its beautiful very lively coloring

Tony: i really like all those faces they're more alive than the ones i try my hand at.

anyway i tried my hand at digital painting, i can't get the colors to look fluid and bright like yours thanatos. flesh tones are the worse and defining grooves in the anatomy aer worse...meh oh well have to keep trying...any suggestiongs?

Don't be afraid to experiment with more contrasting colours and deep shadows, it can add more shape. Damn it I love your style though

cantdraw05: Hey man, I'm really digging the eyes you drew. Nice work. Oh and I was screwing about in photoshop when i made that :P

The Deuce: I love BFG, at first I thought it was the BFG from doom, so I was confused as the the reference. I like the shading style you used, but maybe push it a bit farther? was that done in sketchbook or by hand (or something else)?

I did it in sketchbook...and as for the shading, I'm REALLY bad at sketch shading, so I'm trying to improve.

Tim, I'm tempted to snatch some of your art here, take it to FedEx Kinko's on my flash drive, make a big print, frame it, and stick it on my wall. :bing:

Little sketch I just did... I'll probably keep working on it, but who knows?

C&C?

Edit: vvv Thanks, CantDraw! I kinda want to do this in a few of forms, now. I want to finish this crosshatched version, do a cleaned version, then do a painting, and animate the reaction.
