Tony: I like how everything molds together, do you have any more sketches like that?

Thanks! I do little sketches like these all the time but they are usually scrapped or whatever (I was doing iscribble for a while and this would be pretty much all I would do haha). The sketch (at least to me) is an example of how abstract and strange a shape can be for it to still be recognized as a head or face, and also just how nicely these faces and shapes can fit into each other. It's fun to see how many different faces I can create from the outlines and negative spaces of all the others.

Jurgis: Those sketches are great! I love the varying line qualities used in each one. They give the sketches a great feel.

I just play with the colors allot and use allot of alpha setting (anywhere from 2% - 40% :P) and as for the brush I just use the default round one set on 35 and then if i need smaller lines I press lightly or I make it smaller.

@Jurg- Wow! Those are some great sketches. You've managed to capture shape and energy quite nicely. I'de love to see some of your extended work.

@Tom- Awesome as always. You have a great exagerated style that is very personalized to you. Keep it up mate.

@The deuce- A interesting interpretation, I like that you have given him a baby- pea shaped face, it makes him seem almost infantile but i dunno if this is what you were going for.

Good work all :wbitey:

Yea, I was trying to give him an innocent child look even though he's still a blood sucking beast. Thanks for the comment.

Heres a water nymph...thing I just drew.

Those two little nubs above his top lip are his nostrils... I don't much like noses anyway. I try to keep them either really small, or ridiculously large.

I cleaned up the line art... you can see it HERE

Bodot, the composition on the second one is kind of bland with the house dead center. Maybe put it off the one side next time? Oh and the guy in the hoodie looks a bit like he's about to fall backwards. ;)
