ok, since some people said that i should do something, heh, im not sure, but i decided and i did this, my third drawing ever, i did it with the help of pics of some of my body parts, but damn i hate the feet <_< :

hehe sig,great for a third drawing. things to work on 1.freedom......look how u character look stiff hehe,shift his arms out from the body. 2.proportions...remember keep the length of the limbs the same 3.depth....he looks flat,as if he was a cardboard cut out eheh keep posting,hope i didn't scare ya off. as i've sed to others,sketch the pose out first. |

Ah, Leonardo. My idol. Apparently he was a crotchety old bastard but a brilliant mind! Great reference material even for toon sketchers.. if you're gonna caricaturize something then you'd better know how it really goes together before ya try to lampoon it. And for life drawings, well that's pretty self explanatory.
 But men are ugly. I've been practicing a bit on the female form since most of the time I just draw male characters. Here's one in my toonish style.  I hope we see more from other ppl. I like the varied styles and it's good not only to be able to see them but it's a great excuse to get drawing! Oh, and those of you that have already posted sketches, well you're on the hook now! Post at least once a day even if it's a shoe or an excercise on hands. Hand drawn, Flash, photoshop, whatever, as long as you did it. If you don't Noob will draw a big dude to come and sharpen your pencil for ya. Seriously tho, thanks for posting them. MiG |

not sure what ur saying,but yeh i did mention it was ninja from mgs,i had a ninja toy lying around so i used that as ref. are u saying i copied it or sumthin??? hope not............cos i wud be pissed. :angry: mig that is hot man.i need to draw sum women too,cos drawing too many men cud effect me. 
anywayz,not sure if i will be able to post sumthin up tommorow,i'll be animating all day,i kinda slacked off,got bout 12 hrs to make up for. keep em comin,mig will take over the critting for tommorow.

I couldn't really think of any figure to draw.... So i drew my bookshelf. I have LOTS of random stuff in my room... it's actually pretty embarrasing

Cool, Vector! Nice work indeed. heh, At first I thought, "Uh Vec, we're all using pencils and stuff.." until I scrolled down somemore. :lol: Reference photo.. yeh, I get it.  Can't wait Tordeck. Any ol' scribble will do. Elemental Spirit how 'bout you? The cool thing about this thread is that the sketches don't have to be anything much at all. There's a forum for finished work or WIP's that you might want to display but this is just for practice and exercise. Kind of a workout for your drawing hand. And there seems to be plenty of varied styles so that if anyone wants any help on something (can't get hands right, how do you draw teeth, etc) there's sure to be someone here that's been through it before and can either help or work on it with you. Personally, I really like all the different styles. Kinda nice to see that not everyone wants to draw the same things the same way. henh, might make a bitchin collage someday.. we could wallpaper Adam's studio with it. lol Cheers everyone and thanks for all the submissions so far.
