Supersack, I really love your shading.

To improve, you could challenge yourself by drawing an environment for one of your creatures (this can be a simple one, doesn't matter), and making them fit into it, by shading them in a correct way.

thanks a lot guys, and plasticcup i know i really should do more backgrounds but my short attention span really tends to get in the way, i guess ill just focus on that stuff later when i dont suck so bad at character rendering

I think your rendering style is cool, so I think you really should try to make a background, even if it's as simple as choosing a non-white background colour. That way you could practise with shading too, as someone standing in a dense green forest will have a different colour (green) and different shading (very smooth) than someone standing on an active volcano (red and highlights towards the lava).

Wow! That looks great muzzoid. The only thing is that the legs look a little off, like there not on two sides of the girl.

no THATS really nice man!!!, like the anatomy and style, not too shure about her left arm, looks like its resting on something but the blanket on the thing there looks due to the big wrinkle next to her arm if she is pusing it aside
but its not that much of a problem
nice work
:bfoot:

and supersack nice work as always but you should go a bit away from the heads and stuff, do some whole characters with some more details and textures or landscapes!! ;)
anyways your improving really good

SFW means Safe For Work, and NSFW means Not Safe For Work, so you know what not to click if someone posts a link with "NSFW" and you're accessing internet somewhere that might not be appreciated.

Also, links in the art threads are usually links because of the NSFW value of the images they link to.

Well I have never painted anything in Photoshop and I've always wondered how you people do it, but I found this super easy 3 step tutorial that was 1 sentence a step and I was like, Oooooh! I can see that the possibilities are pretty long just using a half opacity brush and multiply, but I only spent 5 minutes making this piece of crap, while reading the tutorial. I had fun... this is an alien I sculpted 2 years ago, and he was all broken in a drawer, so I glued him back together today and drew him. The real thing looks cool... this photoshop test... not so much, but I wasn't really trying.
