The Token Black Guy Posts: 3,141 Group: Brackenites Member #363 Joined: September 13, 2004	bussman i sketch in any program i can find.flash is good for quickies. a wacom in photoshop is great also cos of the pressure sensativity u can get lighter and darker lines like a real pencil. Open Canvas is a good program which allows u to draw,then u can save it,and it allows u to see ur drawing from start to finish like a mini video. cave king,lol no ,i know u don't like that hentai.Thats for sad people that need a girl.or are into child porn. .......................................................................... back on topic ............................................ darkheart those are pretty great for firsts,the sketches and turn arounds are also good,buy a scanner. :lol:

I did have one question though... ya see...i exported the image as a .png (like i always do) and i go to look at it and i realize that the edges that were softened werent showing up...so i export it again and instead of doing 24 bit with alpha i do without alpha and it works, but it isnt the same quality...Is there a reason for this?? Also one more question..how do you go about exporting an image so that you can zoom in as much as you want and it wont pixelate. I think its like Vector image but whats the format for this Thanks!!!

That depends on whether you chose a 24 bit PNG or a 8 bit. With an 8 bit you're essentially exporting a GIF, or at least the same quality level (256 Colors). A 24 bit should look fine especially if you have "Smooth" checked. You could also choose to export it as a JPG and type in "100" for quality. It depends on what you plan to do with it. For posting here, a hi-qual JPG should be great. If you need to go to print, I suggest the 24 bit PNG. For this you could just export a SWF. But any vector file format you choose it cannot be directly displayed in your post here (correct me if I'm wrong, mods). But you can always just use a link to it, and we can view it as a SWF in the browser. Other vector file formats are AI and EPS. But I suggest you avoid those, because for some reason, Flash converts it from RGB to CMYK when exporting to those formats. This means your colors will be altered. Further, if you want to take it into Illustrator, you can just export as a SWF and Illustrator can import that as RGB. I hope this helps....
