The pencils were watorcoloring pencils, so you can use water to make them look smoother. When I finished the fire, I water smudged the whole thing, which took the color and mixed it up, so now it looks like crap. I learned my lesson tho, practicing techniques is important. |

yeah its my favorite too (samurai jack) but I'm changing the character... when I animate it, (no sword and no hair) becuase one, he looks like samurai jack (its mostly the hair) and two... hair adds to animation time... anywho, he still looks good I guess. |

haha well, thumbs up nice image but make it more realistic and scarry and when i ment rooftops srry but i ment from appartements ya know but it is a really good image dude!!!i like your style... P.S. : the guy is for an idea of a flash movie so i can see how it comes sto look good and i think im gonna use your characters of my challenge in my flash movie and i will name your names. |

Awesome picture NOOB!, would hate to run into that thing. Great work on the muscles. Nice pictures inflame, i exspecialy like the first one where he is leaping off the single house. Something about it really makes me laugh (in a good way )The guy from your secound picture reminds me of brak from space ghost. well the whole point of this thread was to sketch guys,not to colour,theres no use learning to draw onto ur computer before u draw by hand it makes to sense. i mean..draw..don't digi draw  bleh up to u i guess,just trying to help. |

i dont think it matters about digi art? yeah its a sketch thread, but because some arent as good as others with art, maybe the feel more comfortable drawing in flash. plus not everyone has a scanner or digicam to be able to post up their work. All art is practice, whether it be on a computer or on paper. its still teaching u the basics of shape and form. Ill have something up soon. Check out www.freewebs.com/stateofminddesigns/artwork.htm to see any art ive managed to post up. all the images on the page are old work i did ages ago. most of them sketches. ive got better and ill hopefully get time to draw more. check it out in the meantime though, if ya wanna see my style. |
