Haven't posted here in a while, because I haven't been doing much flash/drawing.

I made this yesterday when I was trying one of my first forays into detailed digital painting. It's not much, but I'm satisfied with it, and I won't be continuing.

As a general rule, you shouldn't directly post the image to nude pictures.
Make it in a link like this:
This image contains nudity

I like it . I think the face could use a little work, to be honest.

slick lines are tricky, i must admit..
takes a little practice.

but i think that your pic there would look better with an airbrush style; also try observing comlock his style might suit that picture nicely.

yeah i know it will look better in more painted airbrush style, but i didnt really have anything to trace, so i just busted that picture out, eventually id like to paint it, but i just figured it practice on it.

thnx

Yea, I also had a little trouble with slick lines in the beginning.
It just comes down to doing it, but maybe this will help:

Very nice MrNurbs!=)
I havent tried painter yet.
or I did, but I found it a bit hard.
But I'll give it a second chance.I think I should try it a bit longer

Looks great Colesif! If I got to say something negative, It would be the clouds.
They look a bit to smudged. But maby thats just my taste. other then that it looks exelent! :fpbls:

I just started drawing on this weird creature last night.
Im trying to do a faster way of digital painting.
still far from finnished..

If anyone is looking for tutorials, just go look in the resources thread, that itchstudios tut has been laying there eversince ;)

Anyway, I'm also doing a monster, but it's far from finished

(actually it nearly was, but I wanted to listen to some music using a CD, this magical thing called "copy protection" crashed my PS and made my file go corrupt, last 2 days of work down the sink, good going RIAA!)

i don't use the smudge tool at all, just brushes,i don't even erase,if i make a mistake i just paint over it,just like u would in a real life painting.and i only work on one layer, the other layers from that screen shot are just an arm adjustment and my colour picks.

i was supposed to finish that pic by now,but too much damn work to do. :(

looking great com!

edit:oh,i didn't really use many tutorials, and the ones i did use where when i first started out digital colouring, which was around 3-4 years ago,so the tuts i used are probably non existant now.but from the stage i'm at now, those tuts where crappy, and where mainly for comic book colouring which i'm drifting away from.
