thats really depends on how rich the place is. :lol: well theres no need to regret not goin,u turned out just fine,and i can see ur still evolvin. actually i'm not sure what ur goin for com,i see ur inspired by jason,linda,anry....but ur style is somewhat cartoony,are u planning to get more realistic.? i like ur style the way it is. |

Here is a panel from one of my Prodigy comics....Just wanted to drop this sayin I DIDNT use reference (except looking at a photo of one of those double decker busses)....but all the perspective and the other cars are all me... I would hate to be tagged as the Tracer round here....and not to beat a dead horse or nothing, but I honestly just wanted to know what other artist's opinion were on this...thats all. |

Determine a light source (most likely the sun)...and add highlite, and shadows..using the colors you already have as the midtones...shape the tree. Thats what I would do next...  take this art for an upcoming childrens storybook Im working on....each color on that group of trees is accentuated with a highlite color and a shadow color (the green in the trees contains an extra dark shadow color to give it more dimension) does that help? |

JETTISON ITS GREAT OK!!!!! :lol: the topic has passed,u don't have to prove ureself,we understood what u sed.  ......................................................... Bussman,jets explanation of what u should do next is pretty spot on,obviously it will be slightly harder if ur gunna paint though. may i also suggest u have sum twigs or sumthin goin into the leaves,like jettisons trees. cos right now it looks like a log with leaves on top, if u know what i mean? pretty hard to explain .................................................................. jettison great trees btw. inked digitally or by hand? ............................ bodot.impressive keep at it |

Colesif, I love him! I agree with whoever said in the past that he might look better with a more pronounced ruff... I'm thinking sort of like a ragged wizard's collar. Anyway, he still looks great. I like the character of his face and his bowleggedness. Is he supposed to not have a tail? |

thanks for the kind words, yeah hes supposed to have a tail, but i didnt wanna make it droop or anything from a front view cuz it might look like his "Hoo hoo dilly"(
 ) is hanging out or something. so i just figured id leave it out for a front view

Getting there, really like the background. Since a tail is really just a continuation of the spine, whenever I'm drawing a tailed creature I always draw the line that represents the spine all the way down to the tip of the tail to generate a body flow. Lucky's tail looks a bit tacked on right now, but I like that he has one.... Don't be so scared of having part of it showing between his legs. You're a good enough artist that someone would have to be seriously disturbed to mistake it for genitals. |

i had to take the bg away for my own purposes it was kind of straining on the eyes to see the colors, i made a few new touch ups to the color and worked on the tail a bit. this better?  crits plz |
