haha, nice choices for an amalgamation, great mix, looks fantastic. I havn't seen Howl's Moving Castle yet, i don't think it's out here, it's been one of my favourtie books for a couple years though, have you seen it ??! |

I have to see it !!! Have you read the book, if so, is the movie's portrayal of the characters and places similar to hor you'd invisioned it? Because I've watched the trailers and whatnot and it's NOTHING like i'd imagined it when I read the book the first 16 times
 But then I guess that's the beauty of books, the ability to be interperated in differen ways.

I have not read it, but I plan to very soon. I read an interview with Diane Wyett Jones about her having a disagreement with the Ghibli staff over the look of the film. She was insisting that it was supposed to take place in the Scottish moors, but they were modeling the movie after Alsace France. Eventually Jones gave up and put faith in Miyazaki that he'd make a good alternate universe for the book, not a direct translation. |

 a little photoshop practice... and my 5th grade art class coming back to haunt me.  .... crit if ya wantoh... i just realized that the shadow is going the wrong way... oh well... any crits other than that are welcomed... or suggestions for shading in photoshop that are easier than using the brush, and then smearing it. |

I used a bit of jettisons tree technique (cos it owns) Whats a format for a pic to be exported that aint blurry like .jpg or pixelly like .gif? |
