yeh i must agree.its kinda annoying seeing these in this thread when theres already one for it,almost as annoying as the people that make threads for their work in look at my stuff,but decide to post in here aswell. <_< lookin forward to ur next post bussman. |

I can actually understand peoples reasoning for posting in both Look at My Stuff, as well as in the Daily Sketch Thread. It seems that people arent going over to the "Look" section very much. You post something in there and dont get very many comments on your work. When you post in the "Daily" thread however, you seem to get a lot of comments and crits. Now Im not saying I approve of the double posting... just that I do understand some reasoning for it.

sorry buss. is the red stuff the sea? cos i'm not sure what i'm looking at to be honest,it doesn't looks like sea,looks more like red rock,or frozen red sea? gimme summore info on it and i'll do a paint over. ...... Noobs update ....... i've been messin around mainly with the horse spidey creature,looks good to me,gunna fix the eye slightly i'm not diggin the way the mans leg is posistions.,so i may get rid of it and not give him legs as i intended in the beggining or i might adjust it sum how and make the leg anatomy blend with the horse *all bubbly and painful* the red lines are corrections i gotta make.in the anatomy.

yea the 'sea' is 'red' its symbolic of the parting of the 'Red Sea' not saying the sea was red anyways...its all symbolism. |

hmmm well i wud make the water more dynamic,that wud show how powerful the water is,heres a quick sketcy thing i did as an example

Waves crush in sets of three, so one wouldnt be RIGHT behind the next, and one wouldnt be so "small" it needs to be wider...Its hard to explain, but the water should flow in a way that it can repeat indefiinitly, not exactly, but in somewhat a pattern...If you can, go to the beach or watch a movie with waves and watch how they crash, it should give u a feel EDIT now that I'm looking at it again, the waves dont seem that bad, but could defnitly be touched up some more...the beach is also contrasting with the mood a little too much, maybe a bit darker shade and some details, depending on what u wanted to do with it Great picture btw EDIT...again SWEET 600 POSTS!! (and I havent really been posting a lot lately) |

Thanks for that Christ..... I live on the other side of the mountains from the Ocean, so to be honest I really have no clue... :rolleyes: The beach hasnt even been touched yet for the record, that is still the base color.

cool one useless/useful tip ure beach needs to be a different shade near the sea part i think it canny just be one solid colour see.
translation: the beach needs improvement change the tones of shading towards the sea front. |
