Cool stuff thirsty. I like the shading the most, very realistic in a abstract way. Irobot pops into my head for some reason? (havent seen the movie)

Anyways, did this yesterday in about a hour. No refs as usual.

Either that or a driving rat. ;)

Good Stuff Yogi.... But the left hand is a tad small and his left chest muscle is too far left.....Foreshortening is one of the hardest things to accomplish in art. keep having at it and you'll figure it out...

nice robot T4C, dunno about the real drawing, but the version u posted seems a little washed. not much contrasts, but still really cool at the same time. reminds me of the robot boy from the Tim Burton's Stain Boy cartoon Series.

To Neo_Uk lol, where did u find that reference photograph of me that helped u draw ur internet perv? ahh my cover is blown!. very close comparisons except for the a-z of girls, (a-z of little boys i have) lol joke!

stuck in the third dimension
-AnTiSeAl-, the first one looks good, but his whole head could use some work. It looks kind of small and his eyes are small and close together. The rest of it looks great :D

The second one looks very good, but I think you should turn the hands because they both seem to face front. Turn his left hand (our right) so that the palm faces inward, not back and do the same with his other hand. It might be hard to draw guns at an angle, but you could always get a toy gun for reference :P

Yog: Thanks! Yours is comming along as well.

Boundless: Agree with you on that head, when i inked it on my sketchpaper it screwed it up :yfok:

As for the hands, his left hand (our right) needs to be like that because this will become a little colab pic that im drawing character for, there is supposed to be a lil girl holding his hand. But the gun might be good, i always draw my guns at the side becuase i suck at foreshortening them. But ill give it a try, practice ir practice.

Thanks for the reviews, keep em commin. :wbitey:

Veeeery nice, I like that a lot Noob... Kudos for using traditional medium too. Charcoal?

The lighting is very nice overall, great feeling of 3D and roundness, good concept. Three things to check:

-The lighting on the nose is a little sharp compared to the rest. That white on the underside that transitions immediately to black is good in the middle, but why doesn't it taper off on the sides of the nostrils?

-The eyes look just a smidge too far apart, or it could be that the left eye (your right) looks further from the nose than the other. This could be because of the shadow depth. The wide-apart eyes aid the lizard-like sinister look, though.

-Comparing his face to the clothing... is the clothing really that non-reflective?

The touch of purple at the top is cool, even though I suspect it's a lighting error when you were taking the picture :P Great piece.
