He never appears really. You just kinda feel him. My boyfriend has heard him a few times. Like a guy talking to him from different rooms of the apartment. But he's focused on me. If he is haunting my boyfriend, he won't tell me about it. <_<

I'm just glad that it isn't just me.

Had a friend look at it, she swears it a woman with long dark hair wearing a white blouse.

I really hope I don't have 2 ghosts.  :yfok: :gasp:

I'm going nuts. :bing:

Well, this is what I believe.

Sit somewhere comfortable and take a minute to breath deeply and relax. Imagine a pure, white, bright light bursting from a star with endless amounts of light just above your head (which is actually your crown chakra) and flowing down through your body and then to create a strong shield over you. Feel it coursing through your body and then becoming part of you. You have to really feel and believe this, or it won't work well. Part of what I believe is that we all have a certain degree of control over our environment through energy and using sometimes fruity imagery helps us to manipulate it. It definitely helped me, so give it a try. If you ever feel like the ghost is coming back, just imagine that white light surrounding you and protecting you. Eventually it will stop coming all together.

Really weird! Not your belief, but that my class was doing energy work with Chakras today. I haven't thought about using it for protection but it makes sense.

My ghost is still on vacation, but doesn't "feel" gone if that makes sense. When ever he comes back, he usually learns some new tricks. My last encounter, he slapped my phone out of my hands. It wasn't like a physical feeling, but denfinatly a force. Here's hoping he's gone for good or working with my chakras will keep him gone.

No, it's not the ghost's place, it's Phoenixphire44's place. The ghost needs to find a way to move on and hanging around there, scaring people, is not it. And if he doesn't want to move on, then there's no reason for Phoenixphire to put up with that kind of nonsense and he can go find someone else to terrorize.

::edit::
That's really cool, Phoenixphire44. Yeah, I know what you mean when you say that he's still kind of "there." I've felt those kinds of things where I know that there's something lurking just beyond my senses. Just keep thinking happy thoughts!

If he wasn't mean to me I would be more than happy to share my home. If he works on his manners he can stay. But untill then, we will not be on good terms and I will keep trying to shield my home and myself from him.

some offerings and an oath can work there, Landvaettirs are very territorial and if you are in good terms with them, all the people living there prospers :D

Well fine, he can stay if he pays his share of the rent. Then we could call it even.

ermmm, the winning side is on the Landvaettir side there, because now those spirits are bounded to the earth where you live now, but dont worry, a few nice words and beer poured into the yard can make peace :D

The ghost was likely there first. :D I do think he should work on his manners, but that can probably be done through simple prodding. I wouldn't suggest you be gung-ho about getting rid of a presence, just try to get it to be a little nicer. Charkas might work in that area as well. It's likely as threatened by your presence as you are by it's. Probably why it's being such a jerk.

He's baaaaaaaaaaaaaack.

I felt him. I think he's pouting. He isn't rushing around or moving the blinds anymore. Just stnding in a really cold spot and the air around is really staticy and repelling.
But he's following me around in each room. He's never in the kitchen. I just know he's giving me the "eat $hit and die" look.

start talking to him/it...tell him that you're tired of him being mean, and say that you want to 'cohabitate'...something along those lines...

hell, it might work...i'm no ghost enthusiast, i have been haunted but i don't know the first thing about making contact with one.

Hea, thats pretty crazy that you have a mean ghost. If i was a ghost i would be nice and eat some cakes or something, lol. But i have a ghost story too its not all that intense though. well way back in the day when we use to have our tredmill in out livingroom me and my brothers were just sitting there then all of a sudden it started going fullspeed! So i got up to inspect.... and it wasn't even plugged in... and it was still chuggin along. its was crazy, so we have a ghost in our house I dont know how we would because my dad built it a few years back but he might have just liked it or something, and every now and then i can feel his/her presence... i dont know why but i feel like its a he. And i know he is pretty friendly so im not worried about it at all. Maybe hes watching over us...

An offering?

What kind of offering? I'm not killing any goats in my apartment.

And as for pouring out a perfectly good beer....

ARE YOU FREAKING NUTS???

I am irish. My ancestor would turn in their graves and then nag at me for eternity. The I would just have one ghost, I'd have the entire O'Sullivian clan.

But being that Saint Patty's Day is comming up, if he can pry it out of my cold, drunken, passed out fingers, he can have it.

But note, no one touches an Irish woman's drink....

ok ok, i have german blood on me so know what you are saying, my sister and mother are highly sensitive to the ehteral beaings, and when i started making offerings to the Landvaettirs living in my land, all things started flourishing and prosper. My sister said that one of my dead relatives is a guardian spirit, and by making offerings, everything is perfect now :D

An offerring doesn't nesessarily mean alcohol. It could be anything. The ghost may not be Irish, so booze might not help your cause.

I brought home my new puppy (8 week old Collie) and my ghost wasn't around this morning. I think the pup's absolute embodiment of cuteness drove him up the wall. :D

:fpbls: I have had friend's relatives who have had troubles with spirits that caused problems. What they did was talk to them. I heard usually ghost that are pissed off like that are the ones that don't think they are dead or that a person has moved in on their space. I mean, if you were a ghost in a house and people were in your space wouldn;t you try to get their attention? So, my friend's aunt and uncle would apologise for moving in on his/hers space and if they knew it was taken, then you wouldn;t have come. They said things like "I am sorry that i am here, but please, what you are doing is really hurting me." I know that sounds dumb but after awhile, the hostility stopped. Strange things would happen but they would just say "Can you please stop doing that, I am talking to someone on the phone.." and it would stop. I dunno if they are still living where they are, but i know they got use to it because it wasn't so harsh anymore. They named the ghost eventually too. I guess being truly sorry and acknowledging you know they are there might help.
I also known some people to call in a priest, to pray and stuff. I know a lot people have different beliefs and i dunno if that works either.
And finally, another person i know just simply sucked it up till they could leave. I know though, the family took down all the cabins (even the one that was haunted) because they were old (and the one was haunted). So i guess it just researching and trying everything. I know that it may be really annoying and scary, but i have never heard of anyone seriously being hurt but a spirit. Maybe pushed around or slapped...but who knows...try talking with it......
