I got to make a site for a band from Lommel, and I have to make it completely in flash. There were a few thing they wanted on the site, but of some things I'm not sure if they're possible... 1. They want some sort of a login system by which they can add news without using the flash program; is it possible to make such a thing? 2. The want a music player always to be present on the screen, but personally, I have no idea how to make such a thing, can someone help me out? |

I can answer #1. You can use PHP and a MySQL database to create a form that will add a newspost to the database. You can then have another PHP file that's programmed to output the news database into an XML format. Then you just need to program the Actionscript to load XML data from this "newsxml.php" and then put all the info into a textbox. |

I can anmswer #2. I'm helping Mr Nurbs make a music player for his site, although that once is fairly specific. It's not really very difficult to make a basic mp3 player in Flash. Can help you out if you want. |
