Happened in Mexico This is a true story told to me by my dad. My dad used to have a Job long time ago where they collected resources from some underground well or something *the person underground worked in an area shoulder width apart* . My dad only worked one day and the next couple of days different people switched jobs. Well while my dad was working on something else one of the workers told him of how some Guy Died underground because of how the Rope Broke and the Heavy Bucket fell on his head cutting him from his face down. All that was left was his back half still clinging to the wall. Since my dad lived in a very small town everyone knew when someone Died. My dad went to this man's funeral and said that when he saw him *while his casket was open* he smelled this horrible oder. After the funeral this man told him that the man that died was a fool that he should have been more smarter he said that something like that would never happen to him. Well a week later My dad said while walking down to his Job he smelled the same Oder that the body in the casket had. When he arrived at his job there were men surrounding the well. when my dad asked what had happened a man told him that someone had died exactly as the last man did... the wierd thing is that the man that died was the one who told my dad that it would never happen to him. One thing that had me confused the most is that everytime he smelled the horrible smell someone in the Town has died. |

It's probably a smell people make when they die or when insides are exposed to the outside air. It wasn't that creepy though. Sounds like a movie, always the people like that who end up dead. |

It probably has a logical reason, stuff in the well created a horrible odor, super receptive nostrils that can detect even the faintest scent of death or your dad's just a good story teller. |
