I don't really consider this scary, just weird/disturbing Back when I was a freshman in high school, I just moved and had no buddies and so life was pretty depressing at the time. The only social life I had was with a friend back from where I used to live before I moved. We talked pretty much everyday, and we still do. So one Sunday I stayed up the whole night just talking, got no sleep and went to school on that Monday. Now, as you imagine I was really tired, so instead of going to lunch I went to the library and put my head down for a nap. I woke up when the bell rang with my face as big as my back pack, covered in drool. So I pick up my back pack and head down for my next class, and in the hallway, I'm observing the people that walk by. I saw this rather strange looking girl and I looked at my watch in front of room 217. It was 12:15 pm with 30 seconds till the next minute. Finaly I went home, after a weird day and for some reason I was not tired, so again I stayed up the whole night. Same deal as on Monday, went to the library and napped, and on my way to the next class I saw that same strange girl in front of room 217, at the same exact second as the prvious day. The week went on pretty much the same day, I got no sleep that whole 7 day period, and every day that same girl was standing there in front of room 217 when I walked by at exactly 12:15 and about 30 seconds. This was probably the weirdest week in my life. It all felt like one LOOONG day, more of a dream sort of quality. And it seemed like each day I was living the same exact moments as the previous day...same feelings, same visions. It was really ackward...I never skipped a night's sleep since than |

The story seems pretty believable but.. 1 problem, you would be falling asleep in your classes by Wensday, even with that 1/2 hour nap. The average human needs about 20 hours of sleep in one full week. |

Wll this was quite a long time ago but I do think i took a nap after school ONE day not sure how long not sure which day (and to clear confusion that little girl isnt a ghost or anything, just a regular girl going to school, she just happened to be standing there every day the same exact moment as the day before, and I just happened to walk by that place the same second as the day before) Also my library naps were 45 mins and one of those days i slept half way into the next period because the bell didn't wake me up |

maybe that girl likes you a bit and realized that you were always walking by there at that time. and you only SAW her at 12:15, that doesnt mean she only was there then. she could be there for like 2 min. before and after. |

You probably felt so weird about that one girl at that one time because you were delerious from lack of sleep. I know I've seen some pretty funky stuff, being a recovering insomniac. Things tend to get a little unreal after the first few days of not sleeping.
And as to that sleep being necessary thing, some people can go without sleep for more than a week, I've done it. It's just really unhealthy. |
