That's the sort of thing I want to get into, only sort of bio-techno-mesh. Neurotech? And just saw Sigfried's video. I'd like to get into that sort of field, too. Well, and/or, for either of these things. Avatar updated to reflect my weird obsession. |

I've read articles about scientists trying to combine brain with machine for a while now, all woth varying success. They have repeatedly shown computer chips react with the electrical impulses from brain matter, they once took the brain of a deep sea eel and attached it too a small, walking robot. When they attached rudimentary optic sensors the eel brain could tell the difference between light and dark, pretty much the most complicated process the eel can do in real life. Though I've never heard of them acheiving such successful results. |

While it's scary that such things already exist, I think it's wonderful that they do. Just wait until someone who's lost both their legs in an auto accident can one day walk again with cyberlimbs (anyone who has played ShadowRun knows what I'm talking about). And people whom are paralyzed because of a spinal injury? Why, a new, cybernetic spine replacement, of course! Granted, none if this would be without it's bad side, but that's how science is. |

wow that weird... and what the last person said what if somebody didnt have those disabilities was given those items to replace their own natural counter- parts then that would strenghten that person abilities to surpass that of a normal person. |

Could you imagine the devastation of a rat-brain controlled plane that could remold itself after being shot down using the polymorphous technology? Rat-Brain Controlled Plane: Error number B525. Wing and rear aft rudder removed. Forced landing. Executing regeneration stage. Now where's that hunk of big horn cheddar? |
