A survey shows that 43% of americans find it uncomfortable and/or disturbing to sleep with thier arm or other appendage dangling off the side of the bed. A whopping 78% of americans are afraid to look under their bed at night or stick their arm under the bed at night. Or maybe it's not just us, but Americans i know for sure. (i say "us" because i live in the good 'ol US of A) |

Hmm, I'm sort of uncomfortable dangling limbs off the bed at night but I'm not afraid of reaching under it. |

I don't really like reaching under my bed without the lights on. Thats mostly because I have a basement room and I'm afraid of stuff like spiders or roaches down there. I have a finished basement, but there are still a lot of spiders down here because it is so moist. If it weren't for that I probably wouldnt have a problem with it. Wow, funny that I mentioned that just a minute ago. There was just this big spider on my desk. I tried to squash it but it got away. Now I don't know where it is...

I don't have a frame for my bed, just the boxsprings, so I can't reach under. The only reason I wouldn't want my arm to dangle over the edge of my bed is for discomfort. I never have to get out of bed to manipulate things in my room in the middle of the night, since I am adept at sword manipulation and can easily turn on/off the lights, radio, disc player, fan, etc, with a rapier I keep nearby. |
