my god! love it dude! it all looks so professional and the chartacter animation is so fluent and detailed. The background just needs a little work...wow...inspirational.. BTW, would you guys mind taking a look at my trailer that i did for my new series that im currently recording (haven't started animating yet) the purpose of it was to get feedback on what was good and what wasn't and what you all think of it! but it didn't get as many reviews or as much feedback as i'd have liked, so would any of you mind just sharing your thoughts? It looks really good. the smoke stuff reminded me of yuyu (high praise) Whatever actionscript was happening in that trailer between the different bits of animation caused the movie to stop for about a minute right before the cat showed up and when I tried again it did it when it said January 2008. Might wanna check on that.I agree with you about the cat's voice. Should be significantly slower and lower. Bouncy the dog's voice from the Arj and Poopy animations comes to mind as a good comparison. It looks really good though. Put up works in progress here so we can keep up with

thanks i think i will  i wasn't aware of those bugs before though! noone else has mentioned them to me..but i'll look into it anyway BTW the cloud was catfats fart, i noticed that it was similar to the yuyu cloud, i rather try to differ myself from brackenwood but i couldn't think of any other way it could look whilst travelling through the water.. You should check out Foamy on newgrounds, he has a similar voice to my characters, it's funny, though you can't understand it much

I understood what it was when it cut back to the cat (good job hiding what the cloud actually was though :P). I've seen Foamy and found that I'm not really a fan. Whether I like Foamy or not isn't too important but I think you should try to separate your cat from the squirrel so that your animation won't be ignored as a want-to-be Foamy. (sorry if that was a little depressing... :D) In other news... I have another update on my animation : WIP 4 lemme know what you think. All that's left now is adding details like doors, desks, and grime to the hall and room that he rolls into (feel free to be harsh and suggest corrections in any critiques). |

Animatic WIP: Animatic That's roughly half of all I've storyboarded so far, but all the backgrounds are done so the rest should go smoothly. Once the animatic's all done I'll have a clear sense of what I need to do animation wise. |

Some changes and additions. Dropped a character, which means it'll be easier for me to finish it (less to animate and no dialogue, so no finding people willing to act it out). It's starting to get clearer and clearer how exactly it's going to pan out, so I can say the end is in sight. Looks pretty cool. The gradient effect works well and the colours suit it nicely. I must say though it does really remind me of sonic the hedgehog

That's a great logo Jaehl. Is that a moebius strip? The pointy points coming off give it a real edge that conveys dynamism and a certain degree of rebelliousness. |

Ah, 'tis good! i'd love to see it finished! are you gonna make anything out of it btw? Also, i was only giving an example of other high pitched voices such as foamy's, i wasn't actually making a comparison! :lol: CatFat is totally different anyway with a much more solid character, not just the authors opinions made squeeky :), its not based on anything at all actually i've been making comics of it for about 4 years now, so, long before i was introduced to NG
