This is what I've been working on. I do a lot of avatar art on Gaiaonline.com, helps me a bit with costume design which I'm terrible at. Customers often give me interesting poses to work with and this is one of them.

Gotta move her left foot out a little more, and flatten the other sandal now that I look at it in some smaller proportions..

Haha mongoose, nice picture of a pirate. The face is stylised and good, although only the hat makes him look pirateish.

Nicely done :P.

Its a big step up from ur pig guy...

I've been planning an animation for me to dedicate spare time to, for about 3 months. With planning the story, storyboarding, planning moves etc.

The animation is called Gunjin, and has a complex story split up into 3 sections.

I have decided to create all the backgrounds first, get all the stages set up with layers, notes etc. Ready, so all i hav to do is go through and add the characters, and saves time painting out all the backgrounds.

Here's a few shots of the beginning scene of it, in the wheatfields of china:

Weird... you are using a PNG24(bits) right?
Sometimes the copy-it-into-a-new-file-and-save-again-method works. Try that for the Photoshop and FLA(if necessary). If that doesn't cut it I have no idea...

Got a question about the forum? PM me! :)
I wouldn't call that a teaser so much as a sneak peek as to the art style ;) Looks pretty cool, very clean. The shadowing dosn't make a whole lot of sense though, seeing as the light source is behind him.
