I live to serve! I'm glad you like it. But I'll only marry a man who will massage my feet, share my love of Katamari Damacy, and annexes third-world nations on weekends. DW, I have no clue what you're talking about on the foot rotation. Human feet can have their entire foot touching the ground with the leg almost parallel. The whole leg angle is off a bit, but I just don't see how the foot is a problem. Help me out here.

![]() Done/working on it on Photoshop. Never been good at drawing and this is done by mouse, making the facial expression and copying it from the mirror But I won't be getting that hairdo easily next time I continue this so I'll have to impro. Tell me what you think. Any kind of critic is welcome. Also suggestions how to make it better and remakes with your corrections are welcome EDIT: upgraded the image a bit. those stupid lines are gone but I don't know where to put more shadings. The sun is gone so I can't watch from a mirror

*sniff* You never asked me to marry you when I made a fanart of Lucky *runs of crying*
I agree. I also don't care. Nah, I'm just kidding, but I do want to move ahead without dwelling too much on what I've done. I'll just learn from the experience and move on. |

I like it, the only thing i think looks wierd is maybe the size of the head, but its not even a big deal, not to mention, could just be your character (i havent seen a pic of "the rice guy" in a long time) but the cycle its self is really nice! man, i wish i could animate i have so many ideas crammed in my nogin righ tnow..

Anghenfil great painting! but i didn't like the way u kept the outlines instead of making it more realistic, though it's still an awesome painting!

His leg is twisted round to face us, but the end of his foot looks like a foot where the leg is straight down. My advice is to redo the foot so that we aren't able to see the knuckels, they are what give the impression the the foot isn't facing the right way. Basically we should be seeing less knuckel and more sole. Hope that helps

![]() Here's probably something what they mean... rotating it further away from us, and lifting the sole a bit higher I hate drawing animal legs, so this is still not 100% right. but you'l get the idea |

to bludi: not bad not bad at all, especially if its done with a mouse. well done man. to anghenfil: I think it looks great girl, and the the foot is just a minor thing, if noticed, but i dont think its a biggy. btw, i noticed u did the line art in white, wud u recommend white lines when doing a night type scene? or more so to strengthen the highlights that the moon has cast on him? it gives him a shimmer to his fur i think, sorta silvery. |

It's not facing the viewer, and the foot in that respect is well within the confines of correct anatomy. I still don't know what you're talking about . You and Com are sort of right about the toes, but I'm not so sure about the sole: His leg is already bent with bearing weight, and he needs somewhere to take the impact. If anything, the THIGH looks more screwed up to me than the foot. As for the white outline, I left it in to bring him off the background (He and the sky are both dark blue). If you look closely, I used the burn tool just a bit on the lines that are in his shadow. Strengthening the highlights was sort of an unintended bonus. |

We're just being pedantic. Don't listen to anything we say, it looks great
It just looks a tiny bit off, and no one willl notice it unless they specifically set out to find something wrong with the picture. Now start drawing something else for us to tear apart!

Thats pretty damn sweet, NOOB One little thing which is getting on my tits a bit, is the left lower leg on the woman... Its a bit funky... *EDIT* Although you say about the anatomy, it looks dodgy, coz it doesnt fit in with the rest of the woman's shape/anatomy style etc. I love the horses, great job -Jack |

The older one got lost along with with tons of other files Com,and the only copy i had was the one i uploaded to photobucket, but i decided to move on with a new composition, but i saved the horse at the top right from the older pic. but as u can see,i had to upscale it,which made it all blurified now i gotta rework it.neo, thats cos that leg is tree bark  but i might change it to make it work a lil better. thanks guys.

Wow Noob, I'm really sorry about your artwork. The new one looks stupendous so far; You've got a Dali/Harlem thing going on, and it's beautiful. The horse that's "standing" with only one foot up looks weird; the other two fully visible ones are striding but that one feels kinda stagnant. Still looks bloody gorgeous. ----------------------------------------------- This is a comission piece I'm doing for someone. As far as I can tell, it's done, but I'm sticking it up here so that someone can hopefully catch my mistakes. It took 4 times longer than it should have because I have a freakin godawful sense of anatomy and meaningful shadows elude me. ![]() Big Version Yes, it's someone's character, and yes it's a furry. Don't want to hear about it. |
