Mr Jiggy, that is frigging brilliant. its really starting to feel like a full complete game, soundgraphics music and style are all top notch and it really surpasses most flash games! looks great plays great. |

Nice colour, cole. Painter? If so, you're really getting the hang of the program. It's wierd that his face is so frantic, but his arms are barely tugging at the ropes, or he's not using his legs as leverage to break free. And there's some wierd folds in his shirt that makes it look like someone's twisted his torso around. |

Add in a few inbetweens and it'll be great.  And welcome to the forum. I predict a galloping Walrus will come visit you soon. Don't say I didn't warn you. Today I started a little material painting challenge. I'm attempting to paint several different textures and materials to see whether I can. My WIP can be seen below. I started with metals (which are, perhaps, the hardest) and will probably move on to wood next. Both the chrome and the gold are WIPs, though the gold moreso. Let me know what you think.

Pardon my erraticism... But... I've started something else. The materials challenge will have to wait. (I also apologise for the large amount of whitespace in that image. I intended it to have several rows of spheres you see...) Anyway. A couple of hours ago I cracked open (as much as you can 'crack open' a .pdf) 'Fun with a Pencil' by Andrew Loomis (thanks again NOOB! :)). Well, within 15 pages I had greatly improved (considering I couldn't draw a damned thing before I started reading. Hmmm. Lots of parentheses in this post O_o). Here are a few doodles... Now, when I say improved. I mean that I'm no longer the worst drawer in the world... I'm second worst. Still. Let me know what you think.

Yes! thats me=) You even remember my Nicname from that movie. How cool. The colours look great. It's only a matter of personal style how you like the colours. As long as they are not 100% saturated, Im fine with it. The sketches looks ok Jem. I just cant put my finger on what exacctly you can do better, exept that you have a very shaky hand while drawing on the pc. You could try using a real pencil maby. Draw more, and you will have more better understanding of volum and how things look like at different angles.
