They're both nice
Depends the scene though, what about using pencil normally and paintbrush during action scenes or something? and blur all the rest kind of thing

Hmm, tis not a bad idea I guess. He's kind of a psycho loner type person, so I could do the Paintbrush ones as like, day-dreams of him killing people or something, lol. And/or action scenes, like you said. I'm entrigued as to what you mean by blur all the rest. ~ Latro. |

Just a quick, extremely shoddy draft, but is this the kinda thing you meant? Just imagine he is day dreaming or something. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a20/XRmar...i_psycho_XR.swf |

Hey Latro, cool character, but try not to double post. If you post and then realize you left something out, or want to add to that post, use the ‘edit’ button located in the top right hand corner of your post.

And that comment of mine wasn't pertaining to the quality of his art but rather the attitude of the character. |

I noticed that too Cave_King,but i think it would look more out of place if the leg was higher or lower. And if you moved him back on the sattle so you could extend the arm,it would look like he was being pulled back from speed, but the dinosaur looks more stationary at the moment(bucking). I noticed that post fuzzy hehe,i was wondering ''that sounded kinda mean'' lol,it got deleted? understandable. |

Looks fine from this end, doesn't look like a mistake to me. There's an indent in his boot, like he's wearing high heals. His arm is going between his legs... do you see ? |

ahhh yes i see the indent now. its shaded dark. but at first it looks like the arm is shaded a lil and bent at the wrist. but good job nonetheless neon. |

I honestly didn't mean it as an insult and hope my comment wasn't misinterpreted by the artist - and if it was, I apologise speedy. I would never seek to discourage anyone on this forum - I really loved that piece (otherwise I would not have bothered to comment) The character just looked really pissed and I thought shite-y (british profanity - sounds like bitey, means 'upset') would be an amusing name |

So I was downloading music on limewire last night and came upon this bluegrass tune that completely blew me off my rocker. Within the first few seconds, a flash film popped into the mind's eye in perfect rendering... In a very 1950's cartoonish sort of way. (You know... back when the characters were always 'bouncing') The story is narrated by a bumble bee with mickey mouse gloves and a motley assortment of coke addicts. (You'll recognize their parts in the song immediately.) ![]() Anyhow the setting takes place in a western town complete with a saloon, doctor, the works, as goes with the song. Four minutes long. Here is a rough board of the intro so you get an idea of the bee. And-- if you'd like to hear the full song. So after jotting down my ideas I thought you all could give your thoughts and maybe some advice regarding the 'vintage' styles of back then? |

you could always put in the dancing lines and marks in each frame to make it look like an aged roll of film. Looks like it'll be fun to watch  |

They both look fine, Bruce. If they are indeed ninjas... I like the way you didn't draw them like ordinary ones. There's a bit of mystery and intrigue there, my friend. And I also like the gloves very much. Any chance we could see a clip of them in action?
Yes.
Thanks! I'll be sure to remember that, Jubjub! |
