yeh thats excellent com,its very smooth,but i think if u get rid of sum inbetweens it would look better,cos its seems to kinda draaag at some places. maybe its something to do with the timing. do a full movie like this!!! |

From scratch, Rade?! The work on the banshee is very good-- and the Master Chief isn't bad, either! Did you use the line/pencil tool or what it all the paintbrush? As a big Halo fan I can't help but love it

Yea halo is a great game. I love the core! *kills every one* Its funny. When I drew this, it was not hard at first, I start out as a blop and a erase and shape it out. I try to pay attention to the color and size portion of the Banshee. From there to every thing else. I like using the airbrush and paint brush better then the pencil. (I drew everything out in pen) I really wanted to make a halo flash in memeory of my two friends. My bro Steve and bud James. The most extreme players of Halo and Halo 2 As well me! The plot would be like this----> Master Cheif comes to the past to find Spartan recruits. Guess who would that be. Me and my bro! So we get to see how MC is really like. Pop a joke or two. Mostly hardcore Core and deatail and aroundsound. I would ask and awalys wonder. What does Cortana do in MC suit? MC from a distant , * O yea! * Face expression.  (my face expression)

Mkay, here we go -- Dave is pretty much an ordinary hobo, but how he came to be one remains a mystery (until we tell you, anyway). Dave has amnesia and due his condition, he sees things - visions. He also plays a lot of lottery, hoping that he might become a millionaire one day. - And Bob Terugbetaling's origins are also unknown, but at first he seems to be one of those immigrants who flee their country to find a better life. Bob is fired from his position as a dishwasher in a restaurant and that leads him to the horrible path of alcoholism. He loses his apartment and pretty soon finds himself in the company of our other hobos. After Bob has spent some time with the bums, the crew realises that there's more to Bob and his trip to New Yoark. - One of the most violent hobos ever walked on earth goes by the name Larry. Larry Flower (oh the irony) is a brutal, blood-thirsty man who has spent his better years in prison. After breaking out he kept a low profile and started living as a hobo, shoplifting and stealing money from pedestrians. He has remarkable fighting skills which help him fight the cops when they become annoying.

 It's a sowboy... Explanation? ah yes, I suppose it is required. Well I assume most if not all of you know the argument of Ninjas vs Pirates, my friends and I say, why fight when we can become one, hence the "Pinja" was formed these great warriors were now super stealthy and had a great like for cannons and alcohal. After time past my friends and I realized there was a large character gap, without pirates fighting ninjas and vice verse in-fighting broke out amongst the pinjas, until they stumbled across samurai cowboys, or as they called themselves "Sowboys" they rode pigs instead of horses (hence the whole sow thing) this is one of them, I think I'm done with him, but I need to do a background, I'll post more when I draw more. |

to sharl. man im digging ur style. u seem to have ur own uniqye character style going on that i think u shud stick too. make more please. whats that gash across his face? and it that black line under it suppose to be his smile? bit hard to make out but if u drop the smile into the beard may look better.

Whoa thanks Jman, its great to hear that, especially from someone like you  haha that black line is just supposed to be a hair bulge, he had a mouth but I thought he looked kinda cool with it hidden.. nice. can i make a suggestion? ur character looks as if he is squidy and bouncey, so whenever he head butts the rock, make his body/head sort squash into the impact, if u know what i mean. make the head sort squash and stretch as it bangs of the rock. and when he falls over make the body bounce a little, and bring the "feet" part up. Ya know whenever a cartoon person falls back the legs bounce up? hope ya understand. if not ill draw what i mean. |

I'm working on this: (see below) The whole point here actualy, is water reflections. On the botton there will be a "river", with waves and stuff, and each wave will reflect the pic... Sorta. Well, you get the idea. Maybe I'll finish it tommorow  Obviously, the black lines will be gone too, and the T 80 in the background will be colored.

Oh yeah.
Thanks. Yeah, its done by hand and without any bitmaps. What I do is I make two layers. One being the fill (single color) and the other one is the shadows (or light). I draw loads of lines there, and then color in between with 5% Alphas of black. (2%s if I feel like working on something twice as long) Then I just delete the lines. Oh, and as for the battle.. Its sorta dead. No idea where Mutti is.

Since the "Flashback"-thread is dead, I thought I'd post this here. The original sketch is from March 2004 (the bottom small one) and it was done for a comic collab me and my friend actually never finished. Now I decided to redesign it, just for the "Flashback for the artists" thread. mild nudity, no genitals Looking awesome, Cel! And I love the concept, Hoff. Pretty original and funny.

Hey. I didn't feel like sleeping last night, so instead I sat up and did some character design for my first flash movie.
