Yesterday I started work on modelling the new TARDIS interior from the latest series of Doctor Who. Completely untextured so far and some of the methods I've used are... well, wrong. But it's all learning, isn't it?

Perspective is looking good but it looks like your legs are bent outwards? It kinda looks like you're half kneeling. |

The picture is of me faling. My legs are bent. Does it look too much, like something is dislocated? |

Yes they look a little to bent outwards. But if you're falling, yuo're arms definately shouldn't be behind your back, they should be outsstrectched above your head. Otherwise it just looks like your standing with your hair flying. Having the arms above your head is a great way to indicate your falling, it looks off without that. |

I understand now what you ment with the legs. I will fix that. The fall is supposed to be an agressiv fall. Like an i'm-going-to-land-on-you-and-crush-you-fall. The arms is behind the back to lessen the air resistance (like an skydiver does). But if one can't see that, I might as well put the arms in front of me. |

Awesome pic, nice font, love the blood. Nice house int he background, and why is his hand glowing
My only crit would be that the fold in the jumper looks odd. And one technicality, ninja swords are long and thin

Thanks Walrus!
Why the hand is glowing? It's some kind of force that is coming out of his hand (Chi?). I just thought it would look cool, hehe.

Ok Jesper, get ready for the cits
1. Glad to see you got the sword long and thing 2. Jaw is dislocated (already stated) 3. The fold on the left of his shirt is too angular 4. His right foot (our left), is not flat on the ground enough, unless he's leaning on a wall...crouching, which is also odd. The stance is a little off, is he jumping? 5. His head is place to far to the left of his neck 6. The second half of his left leg (our right) is too short That's all I got...for now Hope that helps Jesper  |

Walrus - Yes, he's jumping! I have fixed some of the things you've listed - and made two versions. ![]() ![]() Yes, they look a bit different than the first one. The reason is that I had to redo some things (Like the skin colour).

Umm...i'm still trying to figure it out. Are thos things on it's back attatched to it? And are those gills on it's chest?
The glowing-flower-thing lookls like something used to motivate it to run...like when you put a sausage on a string in front of a dog
The wand-thing with the scent-eminating bell makes me want to know more about what the animal does. The neck looks out of place, it's too large and muscular for a beast that looks rather swift and elegant in a way. his right leg also looks like it's in an awkward position a bit...maybe bend it a bit more towards us? The tail looks pretty cool and I like the eyes alot. Very sleek. Hope the helps, looks great Anghenfil.

Heh... Yeah, it's visually busy, I knew that from the onset. Does it ruin the picture though?
Yes, those things ARE attached. It's a scavenger and it's back is soft, like clay. It jams whatever interesting doohickeys it finds into its back and shoulders for safe keeping. The "gills" on the chest are air sacks for amplifying it's voice. If you've seen howler monkeys or prarie hens, it's like that. The glowing thing is a clump of lightblub filaments. It's a makeshift lamp. I'm not sure what to do about the neck. It's head is very wide from the front (like a frog) and it looks funny if I make the neck much smaller. Should I reverse the areas of thickness? (Thick on the shoulders, thin on the base of the head?) Which right leg? Back or front? THANK you for complementing the eyes! My dad was tormenting me all evening for making them green... |

Ruin the picture? No not at all, it's just a bit to take in at first glance, but once you've looked at it and examined everything it's very visually pleasing. I think that the idea of having a maleable back in which a scavenger animal could store things is an awesome idea, very original. Yep I've seen howler monkeys, good idea, it looks like an animal which is very sound-oriented (large ears). If the makeshift lamp is made of mant lightbulb filaments, you should probably make it look a bit mor jagged, it's too rounded and symetrical to look make-shift, making little bits stick out would really help excentuate (sp?) that effect. Try reversing the areas of thickness, see if it looks good, post it when you do. Back leg, sorry should have specified. As for the eyes, they're my favourite part, very well done, I really think it suits it well. Hope that helps again
