You're joking, of course!? ![]() I suppose that's a way of getting crisp clean lines! And you can say you built them all by hand. :bing:... pixel by pixel... ![]() ------------------------------------- Here is a piece I've started to colour from a sketch: ![]() - Much cleanup will be needed for this one, I'm afraid... You can see where I got impatient and skiggled strokes a bit. - The forearms are really bugging me... I can't seem to shade them properly according to the light-source from above.

A slight exaggeration on my part . I use the size 19 brush for most of it, them zoomed in on the edges, and then did it pixel by pixel.Your picture is looking good, I feel that he is angry and frustrated at the same time, like he just got knocked down and got up again. It made me think about his situation. |

It looks good but mabye add other tombstones in the backround, mabye crows flying in the sky, or different shaped clouds other than the sky being hazy and foggy. Just think of stuff to add and it would most likely look better. Just don't add too much or viewers might be overwhelmed, or the pic might look too clutered. Very nice job.

The grass looks very flat. Extend the blades over the hill lines and in front of the tomestone. Colors are pretty good though.

I'm loose, full of juice and ready for use!

Ya could maybe desaturate the background just a little by adding some subtle mist clouds building up. I would also embed the tomestone more into the ground, cuz it looks like it is just sitting on top of a hill. The text doesnt look like it has been etched into the stone either. Looks printed. Using simple bevels in Photoshop effectively could do the fob quite easily. other than that and what Ang and Med said, I think its looking pretty good. I do like the colour scheme |

a little soil where the tomb enters the gound? How old is the grave? would moss have started growing on it? Do people visit the guy and leave flowers? Maybe they did once but not in ages so there're dead flowers infront of the grave? It's all up to you the peice looks great. I want it!

It have come to my attention recently that my lighting is ass, not fit to shade a donkey's butt cheeks. So here's lighting exercise number one million or whatever so I can be as good as the Norwegian crazy folk some day.![]() Have at it, you wolves. |

Sigh, the worst thing is that I cant see any progression from you. Your lighthing is not realy god and...no, kidding. What are you talking about?! That looks awesome! Its a great mix of both saturated and desaturated colours! That lighting made it realy come to life. If I had to come with a crit it would be that the fins on the head still doesent look quite transparent yet. But I dont know how to fix it and make it more realistic. Infact, I cant realy see anything that has to be fixed with the colours at the moment. I think It looks great!
