Gobi what is that coming out of that things pants?!? Here's something I've been doing at work today. When its done it will be on the cover of our 2007 catalog. The idea is that my boss is chasing down a librarian (not my idea, but it pays the bills ). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Looks pretty interesting but yeah its pretty heavily distorted right now. And yeah I haven't posted in a long time but I was just wondering if you guys preffered these 4 different guys with duct tape over their mouth's. It's for some motivational speech for a company and they chose these concept drawings and I flashed them up real quick. Which one is your fav? I put numbers in so you can just say what number you prefer. ![]() |

It's hard to say without seeing the rest of the character, but just on the heads, I actually prefer 1. |

thanks for some input guys, and yeah I only was required to do the heads, I could come up with bodies easy enough but they just needed a guy with duct tape over the mouth. |

That looks preety good akpaintslinger, however don't don't start to do the details so early on, try to block in the colours on a larger paintbrush then work down to a smaller brush size... I do the same thing as you so don't worry (you can checkout some speed paintings on conceptart.org as references as they show these stages quite prominently ... good luck )

Working on a walk cycle for my lobster character that some of you may or may not have seen doodles of yet. It's timed to a song by Man Man, called "Engrish Bwudd." It's only the first 10 frames of a 20 frame cycle, but it serves the purpose to preview it. I think I was a frame or two off when timing it, cause it falls out of sync after a while. Anyway, less talk, more walk: CLICK |

Wow, really well done. The timing seems excellent in my opinion. Is this cycle for a bigger project or just a bit of fun? |

Yeah, i think it's great, especially for the music, with which it cycles perfectly!

G'day Y'all! I'm workin on a new animation with my friend, it is an interactive horror. We are making it interactive in the way that the audience (viewers) choose the path on the way to the main character's insanity. I have the task of making most of the animation. My friend is the man who makes everything make sense, he is writing the script, and finalising the plot. I haven't done too much on it yet because of another project I'm finalising. All I have done of the horror is the first scene, it has no animation added yet, but i'm just getting the graphical side done. ![]() The image is of a Criminal Phsyciatric ward known as 'Sky Valley'. Waddaya rekon? Wat do i need to change? Anything i need to improve? Thanks a Bunch! byby |

if you did that with flash I would suggest you make another layer on top with a big black squire. and that squire needs to be 60% alpha.. or something else |

G'day Y'all! Thanks for your help CombineD and tommo! I adjusted it a bit, to suit the darker side of its characteristics and i changed a few small the things to suit the actual setting. I have completed some animation, i have been experimenting with reflections and flash backs. This is what i have. Horror Remember its all still really basic. I haven't actually completed the characted designs. Crits and help would be great. byby |

well done! it looks 100% better then before!
I dont really know how to help with the character designs, since u havent even really started them. u just put things where they will be. once u have made some characters show them to us and we can help. A good help is to draw the characters from different angles first, before putting them into the animation, then ur characters are less likely to change shape too much during the animation. have a look at this thread. Hi people's. I have only recently just got into flash and I'm teaching myself as fast and as quickly as I can. Anyway the only two things that I am proud of to have been the animator of is: My signature: This is just an introduction to show my character the Blob his feet are actually rolling but you can't really tell, unless you zoom. I am working on a big thing for him the end of this flash was rushed very quickly you can tell This is from a tut by Kib but since no one ever post's or goes there i thought i would put it here. I don't have the internet at home so I had to write it down in class and do it from that so the shadows aren't great but I am proud of it Rotate Tell me what you think |
