Hey, if you wanna continue the project, maybe you could redo the designs on the computer and texture them, then print ti out and make it even better than before!

I make those things when I'm on a train or when I ged one hour dispensation or just during the lessons, but when I have my pc with me then I now better things to do :P

Also, I used to be quite into paper crafts myself [still am I suppose], and if you want to make the final product more finished and pro looking, you can add little "tabs" on one of the edges for each corner.  That way, you simply glue the tab and stick it on the inside of the corner so the seam is invisible!

alredy found that out myself but thx telling it (with me it are the green /------\ that you can c here:

Random character design floating around my head that I decided to draw. I figured she'd be a priestess. Soon I'll go back and draw a cloak over her.

Well(boobs) Mala, the hair seems to(boobs) be defying gravity a bit at the left hand(boobs) side, I can't see how the skull(boobs) supports that little tuft. The sholders seem a bit(boobs) to broad for a female, and the legs are(boobs) a bit to long for the torso.

Sorry, that might have been to cruel. :(

looks good malk ... the left arm or the right one that you view looks weird with that laid back elbow. I think all the way down and strechted like that it should just conect with the other line and you wouldnt see the elbow thing poping out

Agreed and fixed. I tried to also fatten out the arm a little to match her composition a little more.

Very nice.

Suggestions: Smooth and fix up the hair a bit
The right foot needs more detail.

Once you have finished and put colour(if going to)
Could I please save a copy and use it as an inspiration piece (It's for my personnal port folio)

Joke: Rather than spending alot of time on the boobs ;) spend more time on fixing up the face a bit as it is a little bland
Good sketch tho :D

w00t that looks alot better with the lightning but i think the ice looked better before, Honestly the best tip i can give u for ice is to look at a piece of ice on a table or sumthing, and jsut draw EXACTLY what u see, forget that it is even ice, jsut draw what u see. Drawing glass also helps, they are basically both the same.
But if ur going to learn to draw it properly i cant stress this enough but dont draw a cartoon style ice block, ( a square with two lines for shine ) Draw EXACTLY what you see, constantly look at the ice block. If it is melting too quickly just look at a picture of an ice block

Tommo Thanks for the kind words. You know how it is amongst artist...we dog our work and our efforts no matter what we do...other people look at our work and they think its good or great...but we look at it as basic and unskilled.

I am not too good at digital painting...but the ones I see from good digital painters gets me all excited and I want to just jump in and create something. I know over time and practice I will soon get good.

Again thanks for your words...I appreciate it.

She is a priestess....

(Besides. They're not "big breasts", they're "selling points". I may use her in commercial projects. Gotta make a profit somehow.)

As for that line on her arm, it was part of the shoulder that came through from the base lines. This is in the ink stages.

As for the toes, personally I dont think it's too fat, but I can see where you're coming from on the size thing. My bad.

And as for the face, it might be bland now but that's because more lines = more weird detail that would ruin the image. Im saving the "un-blanding" for the coloring & shading stages.

And come on, guys. Give the breasts thing a rest. The girls in my school have just as big if not bigger boobs than her. That and almost every video game character with boobs is more endowed than her, especially the Japanese ones. Please give me something a little more constructive.

Today I have been studying for exams, but between studying I have been making the start of a new animation.
It is based heavily on the game Day Of Defeat, which is based on World War 2.
I am yet to make the background of the first page, and the preloader. It's only 8kb so far.
I present to you...
The Chronicles Of DOD

Edit:
After reading tommo's reply to my original post, I realised it is a bit dull having only the intro of the animation. Then I remembered that I have finished all of the weapons for the Allied team...

Allied Weapons

C&C welcome.
Thanks A Bunch!

no offense, but i dont think its really worth putting up at the moment, coz i dont think anyone can really comment on 1 frame of a movie that only contains writing.
guess the only thing I can say is the mouse cursor being a crosshair is pretty cool

Yeh, I agree, second one, but definately try to get them bigger, type bricks in google images and put it on only large images, Those bricks will print out at like 5 cm or sumthing.

The textures are a bit blurry, otherwise looking good.

As for the DOD animation, the arms look a bit wonky. Don't let the quality of the gun's carry your animation through, but keep at it. Any finished animation is a good animation, too many times people start something and never get around to finishing it. So if you indeed do finish it (and post it here so we can see :P ) then you've earned alot of respect in my book.

Apologizing in advance here, i know the contempt against anime in these forums. But i was drawing today and after some coloring i got a pretty neat image, be gentle.
