@dlpwillywonka, that's great! Even though it wasn't fully finished yet, I loved it, the idea for it is brilliant too :P. @p-luke, very nice, clean, smooth, only crit would be that the arm moved smoothly until just before it stops where it snaps to it's final position...if that makes sense @Melker, That looks really cool, I love the detail your are putting into it, how large is it? I think the ..scene..just looks cool, what is going ot be in the background, anything? Keep on going with that

I guess this goes here: http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a275/Pup...s/rock_lift.png It's just a short test, but I'm stuck on poses. Mainly the second and the last. I can't seem to be able to convey the feeling of the immense weight of the rock, or the fact that he's really straining to lift it up. Any suggestions? |

Something needs to go here...........

Add another pose between the grabbing of the rock and the picking up of it, giving the dude a bit more of a struggling feeling that the rock is only a couple of CM's above the ground. With your last pose bend his knees more so they are closer to the ground and you could do two things: So bend his knees more and straghting his back as if he is about to buckle bend his knees more and make him leaning forward more as if about to tumble bend his knees more and leave it the way you have but make his face point more towards the sjy showing the strain on his face I know that's three but I thought of the last one just then Hope that helps in some sorta way. |

p-luke: rly nice game, except, why doesn't I ever give dmgxD a critic would be that the characters maybe should be a tiny bit more detailed, I know u said no more editing on that part, but the chars have a lot to say;) other than that.. rly cool game, I love the whole "I hit, then u hit" game style:D |

![]() just something i started working on. I was testing a concept o saw on a tutorial for a head and decided to add whatever body I could fit. I'm a little stuck on how I should draw the back legs though. (you wouldn't be seeing much of it, but it's enough to stump me) |

 Yes, it's very hard to draw arms and legs for dragons. I can't really say how i draw my back legs but their legs is like cats and dogs back leg, or... Just see animal legs, That's all I can tell you (and i hope it do work a bit XD) |

Any ideas for the actual shorts? And does anyone have any ideas why whenever I play it, the beginning song ends at a different time, each time? It's kinda wierd, and I think I should sort it out before I do any more. I use Flash MX Trial version (I'm such a cheap bastard lol) and when I play it, the frame rate sorta changes all the time. Well? Anyway, this is the link to my Crapimation. I mean Animation...Crapimation |

Well, the green eye is my favorite personally. For some reason the triangle seems very separate from the actual eye...maybe it's the black line of the eye vs. the purple of the triangle, or maybe the 3D..ness of the triangle vs. the 2D of the eye, but then again, that's not necessarily a bad thing, because a lot of those symbols seem to incorporate 2D and 3D elements. Hmm...yeah, I definitely like the green one. I'm afraid I'm not very useful beyond that point. Wait, is that Mike I see?

Hey Ang I like the design of the green eye one as well, but i feel the background triangle is trying to become part of the foregound with the background having the same shades. Then the lines around the triangle set them apart kind of being a different design element from the foreground. The white space in the middle of the triangle seems a bit funny too. The eye doesnt have as much presence as it should i tink. =/ The blue and green go well but it feels too friendly. When i think of horus and the illuminati i think of power and mystery but i dont know what your trying to go for. im not much of a designer, i had a little go, hope you dont mind, i may have ruined it ![]() |

Ah! I like that suggestion too...it was along the lines of what I was thinking, but much more useful and to the point than what I could actually spit out. Haha at the Buddy Holly...I can't think of a better thing to do when bored.

It looks a lot better, in my opinion. Worlds better; you're really making progress. One thing that struck me was the pupil/no pupil difference. If you don't have a pupil, the eye looks very cool and less cartoon-ish, but the eye also doesn't have the effect of looking straight at you...the pupil gives me the effect of the eye looking right into my soul or something. Soooo....(ignore the contrast change; I was just fiddling): ![]() ...I'm not sure which one is actually better...I think it depends on where/how the design is used. Just a suggested option. |

Yeah, we already fiddled with that. Not to mention that the center of the spiral is no-where near where the pupil would go.
But it's a good thought and it went through my head too.

Looks great Ang, i dont think i can give you any more crits about it cause i dont know what your aiming for in the pic but i can say that it looks quite exotic, mysticle and full of secrets. The middle of the eye almost looks like a gemstone. thanks for runnin with my idea yeah my shades were too close  you could saturate yours slightly more though maybe i dont know maybe not =/ cheers |
