Just came home from work 1am. Past a run over deer on the road near my house. Continued up the road to post a letter then came back past the scene of said deer corpse no later than 3 minutes later and it had gone.....not a sign....no blood nothing. Was I seeing things or have I just had too much coffee tonight? |

That Deer head must have been some trophy for the dog. Anyway, first you want to look at the logical. Obviously someone could have reported the deer far before you drove by and during that time just after you it could have been taken away to be buried or burnt or just taken off away from the road and prying eyes of kids. Second, someone could have pulled it into the woods... third...it could have been Divine_Walrus's dog...which raises the question of, where's the body

Sure it was dead? I believe I once heard about a deer that got run over and it kept laying there, but after a while it just stood up and ran away. |

If it wasn't dead it was definiely leaking. Sort of abstract art but it was dark. Maybe there was someone hiding in the hedge with a bit of string waiting to whip it away and have a good laugh at the poor people who wanted to pick up roadkill and have a jolly good meal. Mocha is for posh people, when I want a coffee I ask for a white coffee, when they give me the options I say ' Hot, with milk in a cup'. Can't stand the taste anyway it's just for the caffine. |
